Hydration doesn’t always work in the same way. 💆🏼‍♀️🤍

Your moisturiser works from the outside, while Definisse Hydrobooster takes a different approach, working within the skin.

They have different roles, and one doesn’t automatically replace the other.

For me, it comes back to what your skin is telling us and what, if anything, would genuinely be useful alongside your everyday skincare.

Sometimes simple skincare is enough. Sometimes we might have a conversation about a little more. 🤍

💾 Save this if you’ve ever wondered where a skin booster fits alongside your skincare.

Not everything you hear about facial aesthetics is quite as simple as it sounds. 👀🤍

I hear lots of assumptions in consultations.

That a certain concern must need a certain treatment, that more treatment means better results or that every line needs to disappear.

But there’s rarely one answer that suits everyone.

You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what treatment you want. Just tell me what you’ve noticed, what’s bothering you and what you’d like to improve.

Sometimes the answer might even be to do less. 🤍

Is there a myth in this post that you believed too?

💾 Save this for the next time facial aesthetics advice on your feed leaves you wondering what’s actually true.

If only choosing an aesthetic treatment were as simple as this. 😅✍🏻

There are so many products available now, and I completely understand why it can be difficult to know what the difference is between them.

Definisse Hydrobooster, Sunekos and Profhilo each have their own place.

What I find useful about having these options is that we can think more carefully about what we’re actually trying to address rather than simply reaching for the same product every time.

For me, the product comes after the conversation. The maths might be a bit of fun, but choosing a treatment should always feel considered and informed. 🤍

Which of these would you like me to explain in more detail?

The appointment may be short, but what happens afterwards is the interesting part. 👀💆🏼‍♀️

With skin boosters, what you see immediately after treatment isn’t necessarily the finished picture.

Many skin boosters use hyaluronic acid to support hydration within the skin. Once placed, that hyaluronic acid attracts and holds water, which can help the skin look fresher and feel better hydrated as the treatment settles.

And I think that’s an important distinction when we talk about skin boosters.

The aim isn’t to reshape your features or create the kind of volume we might associate with dermal filler. We’re thinking about the quality and hydration of the skin itself. 🤍

Different skin boosters also have different formulations and treatment protocols, so I’ll always consider your skin, what you’ve noticed and what you’d like to improve before deciding what may be appropriate.

Had you realised this was what was happening beneath the skin after a skin booster treatment?

💾 Save this if skin boosters are something you’ve been curious about.

The trade is definitely off. Your sister can stay. 😅🤍

But behind the joke, there’s a treatment I really like having as an option when hydration and skin quality are what we’re trying to address.

Definisse Hydrobooster uses hyaluronic acid within the skin to support hydration, with the aim of helping skin look smoother and more refreshed without adding volume or changing your features.

As always, I’d start by understanding what you’ve noticed and what you’d like to improve, then we can decide if Definisse Hydrobooster has a useful place in that conversation. 💭

Now be honest… did you consider the trade for even a second? 😂

52% might sound like just a number… until you realise how many people are noticing the same thing you are. 👀

Forehead lines are completely normal. We raise our brows, laugh, frown and express ourselves every day, so of course our skin moves with us.

But if those lines have started bothering you, you’re certainly not alone.

For me, wrinkle reduction treatment isn’t about removing every line or stopping your face from moving. It’s about softening what’s bothering you while still keeping you looking like you.

Have your forehead lines become something you’ve started noticing more?

Sunekos or a skin booster? You might have heard of both, but what’s the difference? 👀🤍

The simple answer is that they work a little differently.

Skin boosters are often chosen when hydration is the main focus, while Sunekos can be considered when you’re also looking at things like fine lines, elasticity and overall skin quality.

It’s not about one being better than the other. It’s about what makes sense for your skin.

What would you most like to improve about your skin right now?

💬 DM me to learn more about Sunekos.

A few friendly reminders from me, because sometimes it’s the simple things that are easiest to forget. 🤗

Looking after your skin isn’t only about the treatments you have in clinic.

The everyday habits matter too, from protecting your skin with SPF to taking your makeup off before bed.

And when it does come to facial aesthetics, try not to let somebody else’s treatment become the benchmark for your own.

The same treatment can look and behave differently from one person to the next, and results also need the appropriate time to settle before they can be properly assessed.

Which one did you need today? 👀

📲 Send this to the friend who could use a little reminder too.

There’s something people remember long after an appointment, and it isn’t always the treatment itself. 🤍

For me, facial aesthetics is also about making sure you feel comfortable, listened to and informed about the choices you’re making.

There should be time to discuss your concerns, understand your options and decide what feels right for you.

Natural-looking results matter, but so does the care you receive along the way.

What helps you feel most comfortable during an appointment?

What does a Hydrobooster actually do once it’s in the skin? 💧🤍

Definisse Hydrobooster uses hyaluronic acid to support hydration from within, with the focus on improving overall skin quality rather than changing your facial features.

As hydration improves, skin may appear fresher and smoother, with some fine lines looking softer.

It’s a different way of thinking about aesthetic treatment.

Less about changing how you look and more about supporting the quality of your skin.

Had you heard of Definisse Hydrobooster before?

Unfortunately, I do love having different options for different skin concerns. 🤍

Polynucleotides, Sunekos, skin boosters, wrinkle reduction treatment and thread lifts all do different things, and that’s exactly why I like working with them.

Some focus on hydration and skin quality, while others can help with expression lines or provide subtle support.

The important thing is understanding what each treatment is actually there to do.

Which one would you like me to explain next? 👇
