Some games mean a little more.

Proud of the way Willis opened the season with a complete team effort and a 38–0 shutout. The Wildkats prepared, played for one another, and handled their business.

Sometimes the best response is on the scoreboard.

Another Friday. Another 38. 🏈🔥

What a night for these Willis kids. The defense set the tone, the offense kept putting points on the board, and the Wildkats came away with another big team win against a tough Klein Collins squad.

Love watching these guys compete for each other. Two weeks in, they’re playing hard, playing together, and getting better.

Congrats, boys. Enjoy this one. You earned it.

2–0. Keep working. 💜🏈 by @dr_aaronrainer

Right! One Dawg brought the STRAPS. The other Dawgs didn’t. That wildcat O found the no fly zone. 🔒😮‍💨 by @dr_aaronrainer

Wow. Love seeing kids like this have such a great debut. Even better seeing resilience prove to be the great equalizer.

And judging by the photos, apparently covering him was optional. 😂📸 by @dr_aaronrainer

What a night for Linc. 🔥 409 yards of “smoke” and 3 touchdowns in the season opener against Jace’s old school, the Magnolia Bulldogs. He was dealing.

And that defense played lights out. Magnolia leaned heavily on its Wildcat offense, but Willis kept it bottled up all night. 💪

Offense rolled. Defense pitched a shutout. Special teams even put up 8 points. A 38–0 shutout takes everybody, and honestly, with the way Willis controlled that game, it should’ve been 38–0 by HALFTIME.

Great TEAM win. So proud of you boys!

Enjoy it. Learn from it. Keep working.

Now on to a tough Klein Collins team. 🏈 by @dr_aaronrainer

Man, Rogers used to beat up on the Bees. 😂

Looks like the script has officially flipped. Academy 53, Rogers 15.

High school football has a funny way of reminding you that nothing stays the same forever. 🏈🐝 #gobees by @dr_aaronrainer

They billed this as Florida vs. Texas. DeSoto refused the handshake at the coin toss. Aquinas answered on the scoreboard: 38–0 at halftime, triggering a running clock in the second half. How embarrassing. Sportsmanship still matters.

If we’re calling this Florida vs. Texas, can somebody else represent Texas next time? DeSoto represented themselves. 😬 by @dr_aaronrainer
