Our baby girl is all of 11 today! 🥹🎉❤️

Eleven years ago, we were told that having our baby at full term was medically impossible.

At seven months pregnant, my amniotic sac ruptured prematurely. The doctors explained that it could not reseal and that I was going to have a premature baby. Once born, she would need to spend some time in the neonatal ward until her lungs were sufficiently developed and able to function on their own. At the time, there was also a serious and potentially deadly infection affecting the ward.

Hubby and I attended premature baby counselling and were being prepared for what we were told was inevitable.

I remained in hospital for three weeks on bed rest — eating, sleeping, praying and getting fuller and fuller, simply waiting for this baby to come. 😂

But while we were waiting, God was already working.

During those three weeks, Hubby had the opportunity to minister to another lady, and God healed her situation. 🙏🏽

Then, after three weeks, the consultant examined me again — and the doctors simply could not believe what they were seeing.

My amniotic sac had completely resealed!
🙌🏽😭

What they said was medically impossible, God had done.

I was discharged shortly afterwards and went home to wait — and wait we did — until our baby girl was born full term! ❤️

And here she is today… all of 11 years old! 🥹🎂🎉

Our incredibly smart, intelligent, beautiful, sweet, God-fearing girl. We are so incredibly proud of you and love and cherish you more than words can express. It is such a pleasure watching you grow.

We pray that the Lord will continue to protect you, guide you, keep you in good health, strengthen you and cause His purpose for your life to unfold.

Happy 11th birthday, our sweetheart! 🎉❤️

You are a living reminder that what is impossible with man is possible with God. 🙏🏽

Dear Jody-Kay,

When you see this message, I hope you smile from ear to ear and if you end up crying, I hope they will be happy tears. I am so proud of us bbz, so happy we are here, almost hard to believe we’ve been married for 11 years.

Older and wiser they say, we have certainly grown strong together. We been through storm and rain, joy and deep pain but God’s grace has been our tether.

We have friendship, partnership, parentship, companionship, kinship, guardianship, stewardship, fellowship, cohortship, big ship, small ship. What I’m saying is, we really have a steady ship.

I love you with everything that I am, my wife, my rib, my Godly woman. Father God, please continue to bless our union.

More life, more health, more strength to wi ting. Let’s continue to live on the moon and keep the honey flowing.
