What an incredible finale to the most transformative week of my life!

QLA isn’t merely a seminar; it’s an entire philosophy and way of life.

During the intense week, among 25 participants, only 6 were granted the honor of sitting next to Mr. Peña. On the fourth night, as we gathered for dinner, I found myself seated next to the individual at Mr. Peña’s right hand. I resigned myself to this proximity, thinking it was the closest I would ever get to the man himself. Despite the prevailing discourse around wokeness and political correctness, Mr. Peña proved to be a genuinely caring and polite individual, always addressing us with respect as “sir” or “madam.”
He often said, “they shoot the messenger before hearing the message,” a phrase that echoed in my mind that evening.

Fast forward to the graduation evening, a dramatic turn of events unfolded:

I was in a state of panic, struggling with a kilt and formal attire for the first time; 45 minutes of fumbling, and still, it wasn’t right.
Amidst my panic with the kilt and formal attire, a calm presence of a lady approached me in the pavilion. “Mars, let me fix your outfit. YOU WILL BE SAT AT THE RIGHT HAND OF MR. PEÑA for the ‘LAST SUPPER.’ HE HAS CHOSEN YOU,” she announced, expertly adjusting my attire.
Stunned, I managed to stammer, “You’re joking, right!?” She replied in the loveliest Scottish accent: “No Mars, literally!” Her words triggered a surge of disbelief and excitement through me, and I could hardly believe my ears!

What an honor it was to be selected to sit beside the man, the myth, the legend during our final meal together. It was a surreal moment, one that reminded me of the poignant quote, “Many are called, but few are chosen.”

To QLA and beyond! This week was not just life-changing; it was the beginning of a new chapter in my life, marked by unforgettable lessons and a legendary dinner that will inspire me for years to come.
