Guys.. , Today evening, while returning from my clinic, I saw a message in my inbox from a sister I had never met — and she didn’t know me either.

Yesterday, she had accidentally come across my reel explaining what to do and how to call an emergency ambulance in Qatar when someone develops chest pain.❤️‍🩹

That very same night, …. her husband developed severe chest pain… at home..

She remembered the information from the video and followed the steps I had explained.

The emergency ambulance team arrived, assessed him, and took him to a cardiology hospital — exactly as mentioned in the video.

He was diagnosed with a severe heart attack and is currently under treatment. In heart hospital…. 🙏

Honestly, I don’t know what to say.

Knowing that a simple educational video I made on social media may have helped someone take the right action at the right time is one of the most meaningful things I can experience as a doctor. ❤️ 🙏

And this is the 4th case of heart attack I’ve heard about this week …involving men I personally know, all between 40–46 years of age.

This is a reminder that heart attacks are not something we should think of as a disease affecting only older people… just check of you have chance to develop a heart attack 🙏.

Severe chest pain → don’t wait → call emergency services immediately.

Thank you, sister, for taking the time to message me and let me know. 🙏

Please keep her husband in your prayers.
May he recover fully and quickly. 🤲❤️

Join MBBS in 2026….

When → MBBS completed ~2031/32
→ MD/MS completed ~2034/35
→ DM/MCh completed ~2037/38
It takes a minimum 11.5 years of academic calendar.

NEET-UG, NEET-PG and NEET-SS attempts, counselling, admission timing, seat availability, etc., can add time.

MBBS 5.5 years + MD/MS 3 years + DM/MCh 3 years = 11.5 years of minimum scheduled medical training

And for Cardiology specifically:

MBBS → MD General Medicine → DM Cardiology

2026-ൽ MBBS JOIN ചെയ്താൽ… 2040-ൽ ഒരു SUPER SPECIALIST DOCTOR ആകുമോ?

ഒരു മെഡിക്കൽ വിദ്യാർത്ഥിയുടെ 2026 മുതൽ 2040 വരെയുള്ള യാത്ര… നോക്കാം 🩺

2026-ൽ കേരളത്തിൽ 18 വയസ്സിൽ MBBS-ന് ചേരുന്ന ഒരു വിദ്യാർത്ഥിയെ എടുത്താൽ, പഠനവും പരീക്ഷകളും counselling-ഉം എല്ലാം തടസ്സങ്ങളില്ലാതെ മുന്നോട്ട് പോയാൽ ഏകദേശം ഇങ്ങനെയായിരിക്കും യാത്ര.

🩺 2026 — MBBS ആരംഭിക്കുന്നു

Age: ~18 years

MBBS പഠനം ആരംഭിക്കുന്നു.
ഏകദേശം 4½ വർഷത്തെ academic training + 1 വർഷത്തെ compulsory internship.

🎓 2031–32 — MBBS + Internship പൂർത്തിയാക്കുന്നു

Age: ~23–24 years

MBBS പൂർത്തിയാക്കിയ ശേഷം NEET-PG എന്ന അടുത്ത വലിയ പരീക്ഷ.

📚 2032–35 — MD / MS

Age: ~24–27 years

NEET-PG rank, counselling, seat availability, specialty choice എന്നിവ അനുസരിച്ച് MD/MS പ്രവേശനം.

3 വർഷത്തെ specialist training.

👨‍⚕️ 2035 — Specialist Doctor

Age: ~27 years

MD/MS പൂർത്തിയാക്കി ഇനി ഒരു Specialist Doctor.

ഉദാഹരണത്തിന്:
MD Medicine, MS Surgery, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Psychiatry തുടങ്ങിയ specialties.

പക്ഷേ യാത്ര ഇവിടെ അവസാനിക്കുന്നില്ല…

🧠 2035–38/40 — Super-specialty Journey

DM/MCh-ലേക്ക് പോകാൻ വീണ്ടും NEET-SS / admission process, counselling, seat availability എന്നിവ.

തുടർന്ന് ഏകദേശം 3 വർഷത്തെ super-specialty training.

🏆 2038–40 — SUPER SPECIALIST DOCTOR

Age: ഏകദേശം 30–32 years

❗ പക്ഷേ ഒരു കാര്യം പ്രത്യേകം ഓർക്കണം…

ഇത് ideal, uninterrupted timeline ആണ്.

NEET-PG/NEET-SS rank, counselling, seat availability, specialty preference, exam attempts തുടങ്ങിയ കാരണങ്ങളാൽ ഈ timeline 1–3 വർഷമോ അതിലധികമോ നീളാം.

അതുകൊണ്ട് 2026-ൽ MBBS തുടങ്ങുന്ന ഒരാൾക്ക്:

Specialist → ഏകദേശം 2035–2037
Super-specialist → ഏകദേശം 2038–2041 അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അതിനുശേഷം

എന്നത് കൂടുതൽ realistic range ആണ്.

അപ്പോൾ 2035–2040-ൽ Doctor-മാർക്ക് scope ഉണ്ടാകുമോ?

തീർച്ചയായും healthcare ആവശ്യം തുടരും. പക്ഷേ competition-ന്റെ സ്വഭാവം മാറും.

അന്ന് ഒരു degree മാത്രം മതിയാകണമെന്നില്ല.
