Improving smiles & transforming lives.

My patient had suffered extensive dental trauma and wanted a beautiful and natural smile for the Holidays.

Besides the pretty teeth look closely at how the gums go from very red appearance to a much more healthy pink.

Health is wealth. Cheers to a healthy holiday season! 🥂🎄 Smile transformation, veneers, makeover, beauty taken in Smile Design Burbank by @dr_shant

Another smile transformed with porcelain veneers! Our patient was unhappy with the color and appearance of his teeth.

This is a great example of how porcelain veneers can brighten up a smile and still look very natural! Smile, porcelain veneers taken in Smile Design Burbank by @dr_shant

Veneers gone wrong! Ideally veneers should be done properly the first time with an experienced and skilled dentist.

If you take a closer look at the top picture, you'll notice the old veneers (done by another dentist) have developed an unappealing blackish gray color due to improper bonding. This can lead to contamination between the veneer and the underlying tooth structure.

Redoing veneers is always a challenge, as we never know what we'll find underneath. That's why removal of the old veneers and bonding of the new ones should be done under rubber dam (blue protective sheet shown in the video).

The old veneers were thick and bulky, disrupting the harmony of the patient's smile. With the new porcelain veneers, we were able to restore a natural look! Natural aesthetics always. Smile, veneers, dentist, makeover, cosmetics taken in Smile Design Burbank by @dr_shant

A smile makeover—without shaving a single tooth. ✨ Thanks to modern digital technology, I was able to show my patient a preview of their new smile “the moment” before treatment began (see the 3rd photo), allowing us to fine-tune every detail together. The final image shows the transformation process from start to finish. Conservative dentistry, personalized planning, and predictable results. 🦷💎 taken in Smile Design Burbank by @dr_shant

Not all porcelain or ceramics are made equally! This can vary significantly from one dentist to another. I sound like a broken record but please do your research before getting veneers! taken in Smile Design Burbank by @dr_shant

$🦷 Sometimes teeth break… and yes, we can sometimes glue them back together. 🤯 This young patient experienced dental trauma that fractured a front tooth. Fortunately, the broken fragment was recovered, allowing us to bond the patient’s own natural tooth structure back into place for an incredibly seamless result. 💡 Pro tip: If a tooth chips or breaks, don’t throw the fragment away! Place it in a glass of cold milk 🥛 and see your dentist as soon as possible. Keeping the fragment hydrated can significantly improve the chances of successfully reattaching it. Shoutout to @socalendo, who worked his magic in treating the root on this immature tooth. The goal is to preserve the tooth while giving the root the best chance to continue developing as this young patient grows. taken in Smile Design Burbank by @dr_shant$
