“Happy Birthday, Horse Face!”

The moment Yun uncovered Jean’s eyes, his friend’s joyful shout filled the room. It was a simple surprise party, but it meant everything. Surrounded by his closest friends and family.

Connie and Sasha sang the loudest, their voices bursting with the same energy as the confetti gun they’d just fired. They were supposed to be stuck retaking an exam today- or so he thought.

Marco had claimed he’d be helping the troublesome duo study. But there he was, holding gifts from Eren and Mikasa, who truly couldn’t make it but had sent their love.

And then Jean saw his mom, who lived all the way back in Trost. She had traveled the distance just to be here, bringing a piece of his childhood. The iconic omelette, sitting proudly where a birthday cake supposed to be.

In that moment, Jean found himself wrapped in warmth. Every face around him a reminder of how deeply he was loved.
Chaotic, yes!!
Overwhelming, uhhh..maybe?!?
But every laugh and loving glance was for him.

And standing quietly behind it all. Watching the joy unfold with soft, tender eyes, was Yun.

She had woven this entire celebration together.
Every surprise, every smile, every hug.
And now she simply stood beside her lover, soaking in the happiness radiating from him.

She leaned close, her voice hushed against his ear. So close it seemed to land right next to his heart.

“Happy birthday, my dearest.”

Another year. Another beautiful celebration of their love.

“Drunken monologue is confused because, it’s not like I’m falling in love”. But she did, unfortunately.

When the drunken laughter of soldiers had finally thinned into the night, she remained.

Yun lingered beside Jean longer than she should have. Longer than duty allowed. What began as small talk shifted into something tender. A word of gratitude. A brush of fingers that could have been accidental, but wasn’t. In a world built on survival, it was a reckless thing to feel her pulse race for a reason other than fear.

Love, in wartime, is forbidden in her mind.

She knew this. Yet when she looked at him, her eyes betrayed her. It was visible. Obvious to anyone who knew how to look.

Yalena saw it first.

A quiet awe flickered across her face. To see Yun transformed to something gentle and affectionate is almost beautiful. Almost.

Without a word of comfort, Yalena pressed cold metal into Yun’s palm. The weight of the gun was deliberate.

She has a mission.

Yun inhaled once, sharply. The softness in her gaze retreated. Love folded itself into a quiet corner of her chest. The medic returned her focuses to the mission.

Outside, Liberio’s lively night still oblivious of the Survey Scout’s presence. A chance they must take. by @dr_snippy

The walk “home”

Music and alcohol ignited the night on this foreigner land, an escape from the harsh reality of war that’s hovering over the young soldiers. The scouts had the time for their life with the refugees, leave cleaning up to the sober adults. Yun had to carry Sasha’s intoxicated body back to the Uzumabito mansion. The walk was filled with Jean and Connie’s drunken rambling, accompanied by the clicking mechanics of her prosthetic leg. It was starting to get enjoyable, for once taking care of people stop feeling like a task. Until a gagging sound and the warm sensation poured down the medic’s shoulder, an acidic smell of vomit gifted by Sasha. Yun acts like a mature woman that she is, screaming at the trio the entirety of the walk. But after her tantrum, she still takes good care of them before dealing with her dirty laundry. The night is on a quite note now that everyone is asleep, Onyankopon and Yun have sometimes to unwind. Maybe she unwind a bit too much at the end…

Thank you for reading and from now on I’ll pose more of her lorr and interaction with the characters. Also the next post will be about how Yun “tug the Scout to bed” ☺️

Stay safe and healthy guys 🤎

The Rat in the Shadows

In the dim, flickering light of the infirmary, Yun moved like a ghost—silent, precise, and utterly without remorse. Needles glinted in her hands, not as tools of healing, but as instruments of calculated cruelty. A medic’s knowledge was a double-edged blade, and she had long since chosen which side to wield.

To the world above, she was harmless. Small in stature, with wide, dark eyes that could feign innocence in an instant, Yun didn’t look like someone capable of horrors. People dismissed her, patted her head, joked about her being more suited to bandaging scraped knees than making life-or-death decisions. And she let them. A rat was only feared in the dark, after all.

But here, beneath the notice of those who mattered, she was the one who ensured the mission’s success—no matter the cost.

Yalena’s orders were absolute. The Anti-Marleyan Volunteer program demanded sacrifices, and Yun was the one who made sure they were carried out. Poison in a meal. A syringe slipped into an IV. A whispered lie that led a man to his doom. Necessary evils, they called them.

A doctor who harms instead of heals doesn’t deserve respect. She agreed. So she kept to the shadows, where she belonged, where her work could be done without hesitation.

Above ground, she smiled, played the meek little medic, and let them underestimate her.

But down here?

Down here, the rat was queen.

Hey guys I’m back after disappearing for almost 2 months. I miss yall a lot so here’s a glimpse of Yun’s characteristic and some of her crimes before coming to the island and while she was a volunteer. Thank you so much for reading
