COMMISSIONS OPEN AGAIN + WEBSITE (finally)!! 😮‍💨🥹

I took a little break to practice, learn some new techniques and honestly, just improve my art. Now that I’m back, I have to admit I’m a little nervous to post this but at the same time I’m so excited because I’ve changed a few things to make everything better!

I’ve adjusted my prices and I finally launched my official website!!! (et il y a aussi une version en français!)

It’s going to make commissions so much easier because you can fill out the form directly through the link www.draawgon.com in my bio! If you have some question don’t hesitate to contact me on Instagram or via my e-mail draawgon@gmail.com!

Any share, like, or comment means the world to me and helps this post get a bit more visibility, so thank you so much!

And thank you for the support I receive every day from so many incredible people! 😫❤️ by @draawgon

I originally planned this MTIYS to celebrate reaching 4k followers, but time flew by and here we are at 9k! I honestly still can’t believe it! Thank you all so much for your incredible support!! To celebrate, I wanted to make this challenge accessible to everyone, not just digital or traditional visual artists, authors are warmly invited to join as well!

RULES:

✨ Follow @draawgon
✨ Post your entry on a public account and include the original artwork in one of your slides
✨ Tag @draawgon and use the hashtag #draawgon9k
✨ For artists: as long as she’s recognizable, have fun with it! No tracing, no AI.
✨ For authors: write a short lore piece or scene inspired by the character (250 words max). No AI.
✨ DEADLINE: January 30th

PRIZES:

✨ 1 Winner (Author category): 1 fully rendered portrait
✨ 1 Winner (Artist category): 1 fully rendered portrait
✨ 1 Winner (Raffle/Random Artist or Author): a card with 1 A5 print of the character

FOR AUTHORS (Next slide):

FOR AUTHORS:

Feel free to write some lore, a scene or create a mood board showcasing the story this illustration inspires you to tell!

This character doesn’t have a name yet, so feel free to choose one for her if you like. She appears as a follow-up to a short lore piece I wrote for Lucie, one of my OCs (you can use this as inspiration to connect their stories or create something completely independent!):

Lucie’s lore (Keep in mind that I’m not an author, so the lore I wrote might not be perfect...) :

Under the glare of the spotlight, Lucie felt the cold bite of steel against her nape, a sensation more real than the satin gliding over her skin. Within the suffocating darkness of The Red Bird, she was nothing more than a silken silhouette meant to distract men from their vices, yet her voice, hoarse and broken, carried a far more foul burden.

She no longer sang for glory but to scavenge the few minutes of life that each vibrato afforded her.

She filled her lungs with air thick with tobacco and rancid perfume, offering the silent room a desperate vocal confession, knowing that once the curtain fell, she would never return to her dressing room.

The cabaret had become nothing more than a red velvet coffin w by @draawgon

Sometimes, strength doesn’t lie in the heat of battle, but in the moment you finally lay down your arms...

Hi everyone!!

I’m so happy to introduce you to Yuna, a piece that took me 12 hours of work! (I’m getting better at timing these big illustrations hehe!!) For this one, I really wanted to step out of my comfort zone by testing some new rendering techniques (shoutout to all the tutorials that helped me out)

I really hope you love her as much as I do!! Sending you all big hugs, and thank you so much for your constant support! ❤️ by @draawgon

Meet Maya Mullins!

Maya is a 25 year old woman from Northwood, West Virginia, Maya doesn’t remember much about her life before she moved away from her home town.

She’s quiet. Numb. She speaks better with a camera about the things she feels.

But there’s more to Maya than what may appear.

The holler is full of magic; some of that may come to call for her when she least expects it.

Meet her in Can You See Her?, a gothic fantasy about found family and friendship, cryptids, and the end of the world as you know it.

It releases on May 18, 2027.

Paperback preorders will receive a copy of this print with purchase.

✨new character art✨

Let us all look at this and weep over its beauty.

I have referenced the trauma bonding in the bath scene about 8 million times, and I thought it was time to show it to you with the help of the immensely talented @draawgon. She did such an incredible job, and was so fun to work with. This is such a pivotal moment in the book and she really took her time to craft this and make sure it captured the tone and emotions and I could not be happier with it 🥹🖤

TIDES & TORMENT | November 10, 2026

If you’re new here, hello. My book tides and torment comes out this November! It’s a mix of all my favorite things. It’s Romantasy x murder mystery. It’s Pirates of the Caribbean settings with the power dynamics of Wicked King.

A few more tropes for your viewing pleasure -
🩸enemies to lovers
🖤 only one bed
💍 fake marriage of convenience
✨ grumpy x sunshine
🕷️ seeing eye spider
🔪 slow burn
🔥forced proximity

I FINALLY jumped on this trend! Okay fine, a hundred years after everyone else... Better late than never, right? And I’m so happy I was able to do it!!

🌟 I’d love to be more active on here, but finding time for personal drawings is such a struggle right now... Between the holiday season, work and commissions, my days are pretty packed! BUT I’m working on a little DTIYS that I hope you’ll enjoy, to celebrate hitting 8k!

📦 Quick shop update

Unfortunately, the shop launch is going to take a bit longer than expected. Due to the new PPWR regulations, I won’t be able to open this year. It’s only delayed, not canceled, just taking the time to get everything compliant!

Thank you so much for your support and patience as always ❤️

Hii! Here’s a second illustration of Astrid! I really loved this character and I hope you’ll like her just as much!! 🖤
___

A little bit of lore to understand why she has wings? ↓

After years of combat, Astrid is finally ready to face Valhalla. For years, she refused to see her people suffer, choosing to bear the pain herself. Countless battles later, the Jarl and her people vanish, their light extinguished forever. This was the first battle she would ever lose. by @draawgon
