I've got a new boyfriend (and my husband doesn't even mind)! Meet Teddy. He's about two years old. I adopted him Aug. 4th from @forgottencats . He was living on the streets when they rescued him. It was love at first sight! He's sweet, affectionate and playful. With a touch of spice! 🖤

I wanted to share some sad news that I had to let Ember go this past Monday. She had quite a few medical issues including kidney disease. It suddenly got worse and she lost a lot of weight. On top of the blindness that happened a year ago she developed dementia. Soon after that everything started shutting down. It was very quick.

I adopted her 5 years ago when she was about 10. She was found on the streets in extremely poor condition. She had been at the shelter for a year, probably because of her early stage kidney disease. I suspect she was not treated kindly in her previous life. She was very guarded and didn’t show much of her personality. She didn’t like to cuddle or be held. But she slept at my feet every night (until the dementia). She was a good girl who didn’t deserve the life that was dealt her. I’m glad at the end of her life she knew how it felt to be loved unconditionally. We will miss her 🖤🐈‍⬛🌈 by @dragonfly574
