POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Yesterday, I was sworn in to my first term on the Emergency Disaster Preparedness Committee for the City of Laguna Beach.

In a community like ours, thoughtful forward planning and preparation makes all the difference in an emergency situation. Our committee’s goal is to best advise the City Council on strategies for preparedness, resilience, and swift recovery from these potential events to protect critical lifelines and the safety of residents, visitors, and our community as a whole.

I’m grateful for the opportunity provided by council to serve alongside my fellow committee members as well as under the leadership of Chair Bennecke and Vice Chair Dodge.

We have important work ahead as we support the priorities of our City Council in strengthening Laguna Beach’s ability to prepare for and recover from emergencies. Time to hit the ground running! taken in Laguna Beach, California by @drakedsmith

Luke 20:36

For they cannot die anymore, because they are equal to angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.

Death doesn’t get to claim victory over you-

Love you Dad. by @drakedsmith
