Theta ❤️s CASA! Learn more about our philanthropy: Court Appointed Special Advocates.

75% of the funds raised from this event will support the training of CASA volunteer advocates. A CASA volunteer can make a life-changing difference for our most vulnerable youth.

The remaining 25% of the funds from this event will go to our secondary beneficiary: Theta Foundation. 💛

These funds will allow Theta Foundation to continue partnering with individuals and college and alumnae chapters for scholarships; non-degree educational, service-learning, and leadership grants; and Kappa Alpha Theta’s educational and leadership programs.

For all of Orientation, Welcome Weekend, the Activities Fair, the Bulldog Block Party, and (of course) Recruitment, we have DREAMED about who you would be and who you would help us become. You are better and more than we could have imagined! Getting to know you has made us even more excited to see all you accomplish. The energy and enthusiasm you bring to everything has made welcoming you home all that much more electrifying. Before we know it, you’ll get your Bigs, be initiated, and be preparing to recruit the next Member Class. Wake up!! It’s TLAM Tuesday!! Today, Clare is writing about her little, Siddha. Here’s Clare’s message to Siddha:

“Siddha never fails to put a smile on my face or make me burst out laughing. She is such a ray of sunshine and is always fun to have a conversation with. The stories she tells are captivating, hilarious, and down-right one of a kind.

From our big/little date to becoming her big, getting Hyper together and trading our flavor concoctions, it has become one of my favorite parts of being in Theta.

Though we aren’t the same major or have all of the same interests, we value each other and I’m forever grateful I got to be a “mentor” to her. I’m so excited to be living in the house with her to build an even stronger connection! I’m so lucky I get to be your big!
