As a fraternity, we root ourselves in the virtues of truth, temperance, and tolerance—with the end goal of building resolute men through the fraternity experience. We also acknowledge in our creed that alma mater is first, and Theta Chi is for alma mater. We are students first, and our primary goal is to excel academically. The hope is that Theta Chi supports brothers along their life and career paths.

One of the most important parts of our brotherhood and membership experience is creating friendships that last a lifetime. This is why we declare in our creed that Theta Chi “promotes true friendships.” To make this a reality, we host plenty of brotherhood events, take vacations, live together, get involved on campus, and much more. By promoting these friendships, we give our members a rewarding, authentic, and fun college experience.

In the Theta Chi creed, we declare that we “extend a helping hand to all who seek it.” This is one of the core values we hold as a fraternity. In our Gamma Tau chapter, we uphold this ideal through strong philanthropy efforts and commitment to community service. Rooting ourselves in service is one of the many ways we build up our members to become resolute men.

Yesterday, 5 of our brothers wrapped up their Welcome Weekend duties as PMACs. We are so proud of them for helping first-year students transition into college life!

Our brother Elliot also served on PAB, helping oversee the whole weekend!
