When I had to suddenly change my music notation software about 18 months ago I thought the best thing to do in order to learn how to use the new one was to transcribe something. I’ve always found the album Together Again For The First Time by Buddy Rich and Mel Torme an interesting one and have always liked the opening song When I Found You so I decided to transcribe that one.

Having a bit of free time this month I thought it’d be a cool idea to record it and get my good friend @dralexdee to sing it because a) he’s lover of the sounds of Mel Torme and b) he’s a much better singer than I am!

I’d also like to point out I’m wearing the new Steropar Records t-shirts in this video! @steroparrecords New merch shop at the Steropar website - link in bio

Footage from December @jacarandabaltic for @reelininthedan + yacht. Popping up from a deep-lying position to contribute the occasional worldie like the Keira Walsh of soft rock covers. by @dralexdee

I had an amazing couple of weeks in The Netherlands playing with @10ccworld alongside Graham, Rick @iainhornal and @mrbenjaminstone, covering for Keith. Such a privilege to play these wonderful songs to brilliant audiences with an exceptional crew. And as @sarah.o.dee would say, I got to play with all my toys (well in this case lots of other peoples’ toys but that’s as much fun!) as I did some keys/vocals/guitar/bass and sax. by @dralexdee
