🎶 Summertime done, come and gone, my oh my 🎶

And what a summer it was! Our cups are still full after a magical weekend on Harstine Island. It was thanks to you — our amazing community — that Coedown was such a sweet success. Thank you for dancing, smiling, lending a hand, and keeping the vibe real under the cedars and stars.

Big thanks to the Dukes, who shared their home and property with us, and to their supportive team, who did a magnificent job packing us all in.

Thanks to the folks who helped transform the space — did you see those rocks and gorgeous flower arrangements?! — and to our stage, sound and lighting crew who delivered a top-tier experience for everyone in attendance.

Thank you to all our food vendors, who kept everyone nourished, and to our craft vendors, who kept everyone dazzled by their creative wares. And to all the artists — wow! Thank you for letting us move and groove to your funky, folky, jammy, jazzy, bluegrassey, psychedelic sounds.

Finally, shout out to our volunteers, who assisted with the less glamorous side of fest life, from stocking toilet paper to carrying out garbage, and provided reprieve when we needed it.

Whadya say? Shall we do it again? Make sure you’re the first to hear about 2027 Coedown details by subscribing to our mailing list — visit the link in bio.

🎶 We’ll see summer come again 🎶

I hardly get to play in Seattle anymore, but this coming Saturday August 15th I have been asked to join the Joe Doria trio at the Seamonster jazz club on 45th in Wallingford. This band features the legendary Joe on Hammond Organ and the virtuosic guitarist Andy Coe. I've worked with both of these guys in studio sessions and live shows over the years, and when we play in Joe's trio we do instrumental reinterpretations of film soundtracks like John Carpenter's "The Thing" or Bruce Lee's "Enter The Dragon." Usually some Fela Kuti makes his way in there, as well a Prince song or two and all kinds of improvising. A lot of times I have no idea what we're playing but it's damn good, whatever it is. It's about as much fun as you can have in a club on a Saturday night. Come check it out, this Saturday August 15th at the Seamonster in Wallingford. by @drandycoe

🎙️ Simple, powerful advice from the legendary @drandycoe @andycoeband …

Get out there. Play the shows. Bomb a few. Just show up and be consistent. Rinse and repeat.
