Se planifica tratamiento interceptivo mediante:
• Alineación inicial con arco NiTi 0.014 + open coil para recuperación de espacio
• Progresión a NiTi 0.016x0.022 + active coil
Objetivos:
✔ Distorotar 16 y 26 antes de la fase de disyunción con Hyrax
✔ Guiar la erupción de laterales y premolares
✔ Prevenir maloclusiones futuras más complejas .

🇪🇸 **Tip clínico para evitar una mordida en tijera del segundo molar superior**

Cuando el segundo molar superior erupciona demasiado hacia vestibular, actuar a tiempo puede evitar una mordida en tijera y una expansión indeseada de la arcada.

✅ Dejamos el arco de NiTi ligeramente más largo para generar una fuerza de lingualización sobre el segundo molar.
✅ Bloqueamos la arcada con una ligadura metálica continua de primer molar a primer molar para evitar efectos secundarios y permitir que la fuerza actúe sobre el molar.
✅ Añadimos topes oclusales para eliminar los contactos oclusales y facilitar el movimiento dentario.

🇺🇸 **Clinical tip to prevent a scissor bite of the upper second molar**

When an upper second molar erupts too buccally, early intervention can prevent a scissor bite and unwanted arch expansion.

✅ Leave the NiTi archwire slightly longer to create an inward force on the second molar.
✅ Stabilize the arch with a continuous steel ligature from first molar to first molar to minimize side effects and focus the force on the molar.
✅ Add occlusal bite turbos to eliminate occlusal contacts and facilitate tooth movement.

A simple and effective approach to guide eruption and prevent future complications.

⚠️ Los elásticos intermaxilares estaban contraindicados: habrían interferido en la corrección del canteo
✅ Se emplearon elásticos dirigidos al mini tornillo para controlar la distalizacion y la intrusión a la vez.

🇺🇸Sometimes NOT using intermaxillary elastics makes the difference

⚠️ Intermaxillary elastics were contraindicated—they would have worsened the occlusal cant
✅ Elastics were used instead toward the miniscrew to guide the distalation and intrusion without unwanted effects.
