This week I’m going to challenge myself to try a different medium or pick a reference I find intimidating. Who knows - maybe I’ll find a new artistic avenue or learn a new skill! If you want to see how I use the photos head on over to @laurahartart to check out my artwork and leave a comment! Welcome to Draw Daily Together 2026! We’re artists who love connecting with fellow creatives. This account is about meeting other artists, sharing your work with a wider audience, and building community together. Back for year three starting February 1st. It’s all human work, made with love. HOW IT WORKS Twice a month (on the 1st and 15th), we share about 14 reference images. Draw, paint, or create in any medium you like. Use one per day, a few per week, or whatever works for you. You’re welcome to use these for prints or other projects. SHARING YOUR WORK When posting: • Public profile required • Tag @drawdailytogether in caption AND photo • Tag the photographer in caption AND photo • Invite @drawdailytogether as collaborator CHECK YOUR COLLAB INVITE Open your chat with @drawdailytogether. See your post with pending invite? It worked. Don’t see it? Add us as collaborator by editing your post. TROUBLESHOOTING Collab not working? Update your app or contact Meta support. Usually a settings issue we can’t fix. IMPORTANT We only share feed posts when you add us as collaborator. Only tagged? We might share in stories, but managing tags without collab is too time intensive. SUBMIT REFERENCE PHOTOS Send to drawdailytogether@proton.me. Include your Instagram handle and a description/location of the photo. Shared in order received (may take a few weeks). WHEN WE SHARE All collaborator posts shared at least every Tuesday. Not shared by the Tuesday after posting? Message us! Tags/invites sometimes come in late. Find references in highlights and pinned posts. Questions? Always welcome! We’re looking forward to see all your artworks and happy painting everyone! @maluhendrikszen @merilintod @laettering @yifan_painting @fioletowacytryna @lizavaratyntsava @jana_ryoshi @laurahartart by @drawdailytogether

I painted a deer. I changed the position of the head. I’m not happy with the result. Actually, it could do with a bit more contrast. Reference photo by @laurahartart - Deer in an English park, challenge @drawdailytogether #drawdailytogether by @drawdailytogether

Feeling a little more confident, so for my highwire act of the day, trying a landscape, tutorial free! I’m having trouble getting my photos to upload in the right brightness/color space - anyone else’s photos darken up when you try to post? Anyway, I may be overcompensating - my middle ground is darker in person. In any event, this was fun enough I’ll do it again. Thanks @drawdailytogether daily for the great reference photo from your October inspiration post! #drawtogetherdaily #watercolorlandscape #watercolorpainting by @drawdailytogether
