POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I’ll be at @sonicexpo.official this year in the Artist Alley! 💙🦔
Stop by to say hi and snag some hedgehog related goodies~
I’ll have lots of art prints and original marker drawings, my customizable Link Charm bar where you can build your own unique keychain, various stickers and decals, and more~

This is only a general estimate of my available catalog, as I might have more art goods available! I know some like to shop for friends though, so I thought I would show off some stuff that I should be guaranteed to have!🥰

I’ll also be participating in a Villains themed stamp rally! Conveniently, the prize pickup is located at my neighbors booth, @lazlopizzazzlo ✨

Metal Sonic ❤️🤖

Made for a Sonic Villains themed stamp rally I’m participating in at Sonic Expo Dallas this year!
You’ll have a chance to pick up a version of this as a trading card in the prize pack if you collect stamps from all participants! ❤️

We’ll have more info closer to the event, but make sure to stop by the artist alley regardless to check out all the amazing artists in there!
If you can’t make it then no worries, I’m currently working on more Metal art to hopefully share as prints later this year 🤭

Happy 35th Anniversary @sonicthehedgehog 💙

This series has been so incredibly special to me since I was little. My first ever game was Sonic Adventure for the Dreamcast when I was about 2 years old. My first plush toy I ever got attached to was a Sonic one shortly after that. It’s one of the only things that survived my childhood, as majority of my other belongings were lost.
It’s gotten me through some incredibly tough times and then some, and I’m eternally grateful for everyone that’s ever had a hand in creating such a vibrant world!
I’ve met some of the coolest and kindest friends, had some incredible experiences and opportunities, and was inspired to make SO MUCH art thanks to this series.

Thanks for 35 years of this silly blue guy, and I hope to see many many more to come 🦔

Team Sonic vs. Eggman! 🦔💥🥚

It’s been a little while since I’ve done a larger piece like this and was itching for something to really dig into 😤
Tried lots of new things with this one and I’m excited to apply what I learned on the next drawing!!

Surfing Silver! Silver Surfer? 🌊
I hope you all are having a lovely summer so far! I’ve been yearning for the ocean so I thought a surf themed drawing would get it out of my system. Unfortunately I live in the Midwest so I don’t get to see the ocean very much 😫
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this piece, as I had a blast making it!!

Did you know I usually work with 2-3 canvases for a full illustration? You can check out some of my condensed time lapse at the end of the carousel!

The first one is my thumbnail and gesture board. Here, I did lots of research and gesture drawings of various different surfing videos to get an idea of what a proper form and wave anatomy looks like. Next, I played with the composition a little bit and fit together the poses that I thought looked and flowed best.

The second board was my color thumb-nailing process! I use this to plan out my end color palette, thinking about the mood, lighting, temperature, and values. It’ll get tweaked later, but it works as a good under-painting to start with. I ended up just painting directly over top of it for the background to refine the waves and water textures I already plotted out.

The third board is the final piece! This is where I render everything from the lineart, flats, shading, and background work. Sometimes, I’ll create a 4th canvas to experiment with various different texture finishes. This helps prevent me from accidentally messing with a layer that I don’t want to ruin. Also, procreate has a lot more layer limitations than photoshop so I have to work with less memory than a PC would have😫

Hope you enjoyed this look at my process! I’ll be putting together a full process video very soon! Would you be interested in seeing more breakdowns like this in the future?

Finished my silly little fan comic!! 🦔💨
Well, at least what I wanted to finish for the moment. I’d like to continue adding to it over time for fun and comics practice whenever I get the chance 🫶
It was fun getting back into comic paneling again, as it’s one of my favorite (and most difficult) steps. I love experimenting with layouts, even if they aren’t always super successful.
I also had a blast trying to capture the temperature and mood of Green Jungle through the color palette! I usually tend to lean towards warmer palettes so I’ve been trying to give a bit more love to cooler ones as of recent ☺️💙

Hope you guys enjoy this little portfolio project of mine! 😌

Sonic & Friends are enjoying a lovely day at the beach! 🌊⛱️
At least…. some of them are?

I finally finished this piece AAAAH!
I started this last year but never got around to finishing it until now. I guess I had to wait for the weather to warm back up again 🥲

I love making large scenes like this because you get to hid so many fun stories in it, but WOWIE does it take a lot of work 🥴

Are you guys ready for Summer? Because I certainly am 🏝️

Red Chaos Emerald ❤️

I know Shadow goes best with his iconic Green emerald, but I figured I’d make a little series out of the Sonic art piece I already did 🫡

Who would you like to see next in this series?

Can you tell that I’ve really been enjoying the 35th Anniversary theme? 💚

Started as a quick sketch but ended up really wanting to render it. Been having a lot of fun trying news ways to render emeralds!!
Maybe I’ll try to expand this to other characters interacting with different Chao emeralds if I have the time 🤔

I determine my own destiny~

Another re-draw of a piece from 2024! I’m going back and updating some older prints to better reflect my current art ❤️
I hope y’all like these updates, I’ve been working insanely hard to improve my drawing skills 😭🙏
(Edit: oop I used an unfinished version of the 2024 art. I don’t want to reupload … 🤧)

I will protect the future~

A re-draw of an older Silver drawing to better reflect my current art! I really liked the colors in the original, but wanted to try going heavy handed with green just for fun, and to see what I could do with it. I always love trying new things and experimenting with different drawing/coloring methods 😌 I might do a version where I use more of the original colors but I’m not sure yet?

What are your thoughts? 🤔
