Last Tuesday saw the first of our new RC Model Yacht sessions. There were 4 boats out for a practise session, though it was particularly windy, and several members came along to spectate with the view of joining in soon.

We'll be running this session on Tuesdays at 2pm with racing due to start in the coming weeks. by @draycotewatersailing

The weather forecast for Monday's Pursuit Race is looking very good, as does the menu for the meal afterwards!

A 2-course curry meal for just £9.90 and it's open to all Club members' & families, even if you don't take part in the Pursuit Race. Food is served in the bar at 2pm and pre-booking is essential as we have to shop ahead of the bank holiday weekend. A successful first week of our children's summer holiday sailing courses, with everyone completing their stages and they will get their certificates this afternoon 🥳

Our junior courses continue for the next few weeks and are suitable for children with no experience before, we start from the very basics:

⛵ 3 days Stage 1
⛵ 5 days Stage 1 and 2

Key Info:
✅ 9.30am to 4.00pm each day
✅ Ages 8 - 15 years old
✅ Club membership is NOT required, courses are open to everyone
✅ We provide wetsuits, buoyancy aids and helmets
✅ Small group sizes and instructor ratios
✅ Swimming skills not needed, but should be water confident

Plus, we also have:
⛵ Sailing taster sessions - 2 hour mini-sessions to have a go at sailing
⛵ Sailing fun days - 2 days of fun on the water to have an extended go and learning the very basics of sailing
