Walked in the homecoming parade today with my school. Had so much fun seeing students (current and past!), probably lost my voice (no big deal, not like we have conferences tomorrow or anything..), and met my move/step goal for the day (win/win.)

Started year 19 today…

Solid 8/10 day. No tears (from me or the students,) everyone got lunch, and all the kiddos got home at the end of the day. Solid win. 🏆

Summer break, where did you go?

My district actually starts workshop week 8/24 (1 month from today) and we go back to school the 31st…we are normally AFTER Labor Day but with that being late this year, we have a different calendar and I do not approve. 😠

Sidebar: I played soccer through high school and I could feel @mikelmerino’s pain as @leomessi’s shot hit him square in the face as we watched the game! ⚽️

🐢 Slow mornings are my favorite…Took a 1/2 day, so don’t need to be in until 11am.

⏰ Woke up to an alarm over an hour later than normal time.

🚗 Dropped J off at school…high school parent drop off lines are just as crazy and ruthless as elementary BTW!

☕️ Went and got myself a little pick-me-up from @cariboucoffee after staying up until 1am watching the @mn.wild game last night. Went through drive-thru so no one would notice my sleep hair or pajamas.

📕 Reading until I need to put on real clothes…

☀️ Can’t wait until this is more frequent (27 days…but who’s counting?!)

My class loves using our 🐨Koala Timer Pal🐨 we were gifted from @breathingpalofficial to keep us on track during the day!

He is not only easy to use (just turn on and twist his tail to the correct minutes!) but the colors are beautiful 🌈 , and it’s reminders during the countdown are quiet and calming.

We even use it like a night light during our quiet time and read aloud!✨

I would actually like to request some time off, bc this is exhausting…

Ant1fa is not a terro1st organization because it literally means ANTI-Fascism, so if it’s on 🤡’s list then to be for Fascism would have to be American…

The #nokingsprotest ❌👑 is not about being anti-American, it’s about being anti-dictator and against these people (Heritage Foundation, Pedo Protectors and T’s lapdogs) who are literally setting our country back hundreds of years with the executive orders and Na🐍i regime.

Speaker Mike Johnson, aka 🍊’s puppet, has said that healthcare is a “December problem, not a September problem.” Well, millions of Americans (not undocumented immigrants) are going to lose their healthcare come November, after the midterm elections, but before December discussions.

🤡’s Big Beautiful Disaster is going to harm more than it will help this country, and Republicans gleeful voted for it to pass because they can continue to get their healthcare and have no desire to negotiate because they still get paid whether the government is open or not…

Oh, and release the #epsteinfiles without redaction of your “lord and savior”’s name. Republicans and MAGA literally put the least Christian or Jesus following person into office…he a cheat, a scoundrel, a con artist, an abuser, and a pedophile.
