The Boys are back in town @glenhelenraceway this weekend. @appliedmototechnologies

This is my OTHER gear sinkhole. 😂😂😂. (As if recording studios weren’t enough).

Son no.1 - Corey - debuting his fire breathing 167 motors / bikes at the @pasharacing (many thanks Pasha) 125 Open Class Motocross race at the 2 Stroke Nationals this weekend - Glen Helen Raceways in So Cal. So proud bud!! Tear it up!!!

Wire & Connectors. The lifeblood of any studio!! I like Mogami & Neutrix for transparent sound and ease of wiring. These XLR to Elco fanouts are going into outboard racks.

Even with some vintage ribbons like my RCA77DX, the Warm holds its own and hits hard. A worthy addition to the collection.

I was waiting for a clean vintage 44, but glad I took the chance on the Warm. Totally satisfied. Scratched my 44 itch!! How many of you guys are using this mic?

The power of 500 series modules is undeniable…. Just a few of my favorites. What are your faves?

Anyone care to guess how many times they went “cascading down” on me while trying to pose the mics for a pic? 😂😂

My all-time favorite audio connector!!! When I discovered these, my studio, travel rigs, audio life, and recording sessions changed forever. Who still uses these beasts?? Have you discovered anything that does the job better?

96 point TT’s up front, 4 Elco’s on the rear. Everything connected with 24pair Mogami and Elcos!!! Every console, rack, bay, etc. terminates with Elcos. Happy Daze!!!

@capigear Jeff - you mentioned “the OG’s” earlier…. Here’s some more for ya! Original vp-26’s!! Love em. The very first 512B’s, real OG’s. Origonal vp-28’s. Awesome!! Some of the first Biz’s. The first release batch of Chromas for either API or Neve sonics, and some of the first AML 1073’s that I think I got from you. Also ser.no. 001 Silver Bullet mk1 and a pair of original @locomotiveaudio WT-72’s. Add in a pair of @coil_audio CA-70S’s and a 286A that are out of pic and you’ve pretty much got a killer OG drum recording setup. A veritable OG cornucopia!

Sure, there’s a ton of stuff I’d still love to try, but those consistently row my boat….😆😆

What are y’all relying on for drum recordings?

Tightening things up with 500 modules? Heck yeah!!! Using some @capigear Missing Links and Density’s on this track! Also some @louderthanliftoff Chop Shop hardware and plugins with their resonating LF cutoff. What do you guys use? What are your fave 500 modules?

Some gear is in constant use, rode hard, put away wet. 😆 The Silver Bullet mk2 is that for me. In constant use. This one is always on the mix buss. What’s a piece of gear like that for you? Is it a Silver Bullet? Or?

Out for a little night ride in the Gladiator. Needed to clear my mind. Being away from everything and everyone at night will do it!

I LOVE analog EQ and FILTERS on my synths. Two of my favorites when I’m hunting a vintage sound - API & CAPI. What do you guys love?
