The acclaimed stage show live at the Ojai Playhouse. One night only! ✨

🎟️ link in bio

Thirteen kids have disappeared in this small town in the past three months. One private eye is on the hunt to find out why. Unfortunately those kids will have to wait, because this weekend my son is coming to visit.

Cole Saleh is a clown and stand-up comedian who has performed all over the world, blending comedic timing with absurdity through physicality. Trained under Dr. Brown (Phil Burgers), Cole has brought his work to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Comedy Store, and the Bill Murray Theatre in London. He’s also a member of “Silent Partners”, a silent clown trio out of Los Angeles, CA.

DR. BROWN ✨ BEFRDFGTH

Don’t miss this special opportunity to experience a rare comedic thrill in a very intimate setting.

Tuesday June 9, Wednesday June 10, Saturday June 13

Tickets on sale now! 🎟️

Phil Burgers, better known by his stage character Dr. Brown, is an internationally acclaimed character comedian, clown, writer, and director based in Los Angeles. He is widely recognized for his silent, absurd, and physical comedy performances, often credited with reviving and modernizing the art of clowning.

This is silent comedy at its most silly, surreal, and absurd from an internationally renowned clown. Full of ‘superbly constructed, slow-burning routines, and a killer finale.”

BEFRDFGTH won the Barry Award for best show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, as well as the Foster’s Award for best comedy show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The performance at the Soho Theatre in London was also co-winner of the Total Theatre Award for Innovation, Experimentation & Playing with Form. taken in Ojai, California by @drbrowncomedy

This workshop will ideally help you find your freedom and ridiculousness on stage and connect more deeply with an audience. Please note – this workshop can be quite difficult at times. In addition to encouraging things you do on stage that are working, Dr. Brown is also there to point out when something is NOT working. With the acceptance of failure, you can learn to be more open and vulnerable in front of a group of strangers. If you do not respond positively to admitting failure, this workshop may not be for you. When you are ready to LAUGH at your failure, the work can begin. This and your sensitivity to an audience, will help expose how stupid and ridiculous you (and only you) can be.
