Lee takes us around one of the Chev 2500 builds we’ve got on display at the Mandurah Boat, Caravan, 4WD & Camping Show this weekend.

There’s a fair bit going on with this one, including the Raslarr front bar with STEDI EVOs, 3-inch FOX/BDS suspension, Method Race Wheels, Maxxis tyres, modified colour coded flares, DRD mudflaps, electric side steps, under-seat battery setup, onboard air and an HSP electric roller shutter.

A proper look at the little details that go into making the whole build work together.

Now THIS is a build 🔥

A seriously impressive setup through the DRD workshop, with a huge amount of work, quality gear and some great suppliers involved in bringing this one together.

Built for touring, built to be used and absolutely packed with gear. 👊

FOX/BDS 3-inch suspension underneath, Method Race Wheels wrapped in Maxxis RAZR tyres and Bushwakka colour coded flares have this thing sitting right.

Up top, it’s running an Apache electric roller cover and bed rack system, DECKED cargo slides, MATE Design moly panels and a 23ZERO rooftop tent and awning. We’ve also custom built a 140L water tank mounted under the roller cover.

An ARB Twin Compressor takes care of the onboard air, paired with APEX 10m compact hose reels and tyre deflators. An under seat battery setup keeps the gear powered when they’re out on the road.

We’ve fitted a GME UHF, STEDI rock lights in each wheel arch, an EC Offroad behind-grille light bar and a Switch-Pros system mounted above the rear-view mirror.

There’s also a behind grille winch cradle with a Carbon 15K winch, colour coded tow hooks, Companion hot water system, Starlink and a GEN-Y hitch.

There is a LOT going on in this build, but everything has a purpose.

A massive amount of work from the DRD crew and a bloody good result. We’re pretty proud of this one 👊🔥

LC300 | BUILT FOR TOURING 👊🔥

Pistol gives us a quick walkaround of this seriously well equipped 300 Series LandCruiser.

This one’s running colour coded Raslarr front and rear bars, STEDI lighting, roof racks, a Lovells GVM upgrade and rear airbags for extra support when towing.

Around the back, there’s a full Raslarr rear bar setup with spare wheel carrier and fuel and water storage.

There’s a fair bit of gear packed into this one, and it’s all come together bloody nicely! 👌

What a weekend!

A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by the DRD stand, checked out the builds and had a chat with the crew. It was great catching up with familiar faces and meeting plenty of new ones too.

A big shoutout to the DRD team for all the hard work that went into getting everything ready for the show. There’s a fair bit that goes on behind the scenes, and the crew did an awesome job.
