This weekend marks 5 years in Colorado. It has gone by so quickly. Lots of highs and lows, but through it all I see God’s hand in it. I am so grateful for this life I’ve been given. I cannot imagine living anywhere else… except San Diego. Who doesn’t want to live in San Diego?! by @drdavechiu

God said it first. Not me. by @drdavechiu

I had the honor of sharing my first cup with my good friend, Dave Chiu, dentist at Restore Dental. He’s from Toronto and completed his dental training at the University of Michigan, where he also met the love of his life ❤️. He’s the only person I know who would hike miles through the snow in search of a frozen lake to skate on, just to check it off his bucket list.

Dave and I first met after I dropped my daughter off at the Kumon next to his office. He spent many years practicing in Houston before making the move to Colorado. During our coffee chat, we reflected on what it was like transitioning to a new city and talked about the importance of community and building meaningful relationships. Dave encouraged me with lessons from books he’s been reading and shared a few podcasts recommendations. We also shared what each of us is being intentional about in this upcoming season of life.

I’m grateful for our friendship and the connection our families have built over the past few years. I also take pride in introducing him to pickleball and successfully stealing him from the tennis courts. You’ll have to ask him about his plans to run the Taco Bell Ultramarathon! 🌮

Patient’s Goals: Brighten up a room with a new smile. Fix the crooked teeth and dark colors.

What we did: 18 veneers to help out the bite and brighten the smile. A mix of upper minimal prep and lower no prep veneers after a round of Invisalign.

Sometimes all it takes is two! Undersized lateral incisors, also known as “peg laterals”, are very common. A pair of porcelain veneers are perfect to size up these laterals to make a more cohesive smile.
