Once again, we’re honored to be named among Metro Detroit’s Top Docs! 💙🏆
Dr. David S. Balle and Dr. Meredith Price have been recognized in Hour Detroit Magazine’s 2026 Top Docs issue!
What makes this recognition especially meaningful is that it comes from our fellow physicians. Based on a peer-review survey of approximately 22,000 doctors across Metro Detroit, this distinction celebrates excellence in patient care and medical expertise.
We’re incredibly grateful to our colleagues for their continued recognition and to our wonderful patients for trusting us with their care year after year.

Psoriasis is more than skin deep. 💜🧡
For World Psoriasis Day, we’re raising awareness about a condition that affects millions of people worldwide—and goes far beyond what you can see.
Psoriasis is a chronic, immune-mediated condition that can impact not only your skin, but also your confidence, comfort, and overall quality of life.
The good news? While there’s no cure, modern dermatologic treatments can help manage symptoms and make a meaningful difference.
✨ Healthy skin is about more than appearance. It’s about feeling comfortable and confident in your own skin.
Let’s break the stigma, spread awareness, and remember: Psoriasis is not contagious.

Weight loss can transform your health, but what about your face?

Significant weight loss, especially with GLP-1 medications, can lead to hollow cheeks, reduced facial definition, and skin laxity—often called “Ozempic face.”

Sculptra helps stimulate your body’s natural collagen production to gradually restore facial support, improve firmness, and enhance contours for a refreshed, natural-looking appearance.

The goal isn’t to change how you look, but to help you look like the best version of yourself while celebrating your weight loss success!

I’m incredibly grateful for patients who continue to place their trust in me and my wonderful team. Your kind words mean more than you know!

Well, this was a fun surprise! 👀💙

A patient recently told us they found my practice through ChatGPT, so naturally, I got a little curious and decided to ask a few questions myself!
Seeing my name come up was definitely an exciting moment, and I’m grateful for the recognition!
While AI might help you find me, nothing replaces a personal connection, years of experience, and care tailored to YOU.
So, thanks for the introduction, Chat! Now, let’s meet in person!

Some patients truly become part of the GPD family. 💙
This testimonial made me smile. Having the privilege of caring for patients who have been with Grosse Pointe Dermatology since before I began practicing is incredibly special to me.
It’s wonderful to know that the small things—and the people behind them—can make such a difference.
I’m especially proud to hear such kind words about our team. Creating an environment where our patients feel comfortable, cared for, and genuinely at home has always been important to me.
Thank you for your trust, your loyalty, and for allowing us to care for you all these years. ❤️

Twenty-five years ago, when I first began treating patients with BOTOX®, I had the incredible opportunity to learn directly from two of the pioneers who helped shape cosmetic BOTOX as we know it today: Drs. Jean and Alastair Carruthers.
I visited their office in Vancouver, watched them treat patients, and even treated my very first BOTOX patients under their supervision and guidance.
Dr. Jean Carruthers @carrutherscosmetics recently shared the story of the “aha moment” that helped launch an entirely new era in aesthetic medicine—and I wanted to share it with you, too.
It’s amazing to look back at how one patient observation, a curious mind, and a conversation over dinner helped change cosmetic dermatology forever.
I’ll always be grateful to have learned from true pioneers in our field. 💙 by @drdavidballe

Psoriasis can affect more than your skin. 💙

On Psoriatic Arthritis Awareness Day, I want to remind you to pay attention to joint pain or swelling, morning stiffness, and changes in your nails—even when your skin is doing well.

If you’ve noticed any of these signs, bring them up at your next visit or schedule a checkup. Recognizing psoriatic arthritis early can help protect your joints and get you the care you need.

Not sure what your skin needs? That’s exactly what a consultation is for. ✨
We take the time to look at your skin, hear your concerns, and create a personalized plan based on your goals — so you’re not guessing when it comes to your skincare.
And this month, there’s a little bonus: book a consultation and receive a complimentary peel during your visit. 🤍
Your skin journey can start with one appointment.
