Founder @drdavidluu just got back from two weeks in Shanghai and Seoul, and the takeaway is clear: the infrastructure for longevity medicine is being built right now, and it is going up fast.

2. The capital agrees. This week: @neko raised $700 million for preventive scanning. @elilillyco became the first trillion-dollar drug company by betting on prevention. A $13,500 robot performed live surgery with the physician in the loop.

3. Trained physicians deliver the care. Across two countries, the bottleneck was the same everywhere: talent. You can buy the machines. The physician who knows how to read them is the most valuable asset in the building. The highest-return investment in longevity medicine is your doctors. Train them.

« everyone knows @demimoore but who is Nana? »
it was a beautiful day in LA. 50 people on set. she paused, surprised by the question. Nana is what her granddaughter calls her. and that is where the real conversation started.

as a young doctor from the south of France, i would have never imagined being in Hollywood talking longevity with an iconic, award-winning actress. two years in the making. i can finally share it.

rewind to the early days of building the longevity ecosystem at Lancôme. I knew demi would be a global ambassador, i was impressed by her interest and her knowledge. she wanted to understand the science, the medicine. she was the one asking the questions

we sat for a long conversation about how she sees longevity now. her granddaughter. her family. the life she keeps building.

on set, she was generous on camera and off. she coached me on a few acting tips « it is all about breathing » i traded a few longevity ones back. fair exchange.

I love that she said: she wants to live well now, not forever.

i became a doctor to help people live healthier lives. that mission has never changed. this project with @lancomeofficial is a new chapter of the same story. bringing culture and medicine into the same room.

Twenty-five physicians from ten countries walked across the stage at the Cannes Gala to become the world's first Certified Longevitydocs™.

For years these doctors have been building longevity practices on their own, being told by colleagues they were operating outside the standard of care, and running protocols in isolation while waiting for a formal community to back them up. The credential they earned this month closes that gap.

Physicians now have a defined body of knowledge across biomarker diagnostics, metabolic health, cellular biology, regenerative protocols, peptide therapeutics, and AI-augmented practice, plus a global network of 1,000+ doctors across 68+ countries to build with. Patients now have a way to search for a doctor whose longevity training is certified.

Two hundred physicians. Thirty countries. The biggest gathering of physician-led longevity medicine the world has ever seen.

From New York to Sydney. From London to Doha. From Paris to São Paulo. From Stockholm to Seoul. From Zurich to Accra. From Mumbai to Dubai. The global longevity field stepped onto one Riviera at the longevitydocs Summit™ and rewrote what was possible for the next decade of medicine.

my dream is to build digital hopitals in africa.
imagine building health hubs in villages where point of care devices and labs paired with AI could do help deliver realtime care super affordable and accessible and powered by local health workers! we might do it soon with @theheartfund

on set, i started playing a song @zoesaldana used to listen to when she moved to the dominican republic. she started singing. it got emotional. and from there we just talked, for a long time. we laughed, we shared stories, we talked about her life, her culture, her family, dancing, cooking, being present, being proactive. everyone has a different definition of longevity. as a physician, i used to tie it only to biology. but it means so much more than that. it is a mindset. a journey. about living better, in your own way. what i took from zoë is that it is the simple rituals, the ones we do not even realize, that probably count the most. thank you for sharing that with me. grateful to be part of this journey, bringing science, education, and proactive health to the center of the cultural conversation. thank you vania for building the longevity ecosystem at @lancomeofficial, barbara for your global vision for @lorealgroupe, and to the whole team of scientists, technologists, and creatives behind it. excited about what is coming next! by @drdavidluu
