ENTRY 031 - STAGES by GWM + DOC.M

Sundays have become my little window into the here and now, a chance to step outside The Archives and show you what I’m actually creating right now.

This week the home studio had my good mate Dylan cutting some absolutely fresh original bars over beats we made ourselves. That boy is @drdingaz ….hit him up. Seriously talented, and there’s plenty more coming from us.

We’d never worked together before this session and somehow walked out with 3 songs in one sitting. This is one of them.

STAGES is about how your own internal perception can sometimes blind you to a here and now that’s practically screaming at you, as loud as a crowd when you’re standing on stage.

Doubt. Insecurity. Overthinking. All the very human shit that can make you feel isolated even when there’s an entire crowd behind you.

But when you actually let that support in, there’s strength in the unity. Community pushes you higher. You start reaching peaks you probably weren’t getting to alone.

And through all the different stages of life, represented literally by the stages we perform on, what comes out the other side is growth, development and perspective.

We just say it a lot cooler in the song 😂

Also!!! open invitation to any artists who want to come through, make something from scratch and see what happens. Hit me up. I’d love to have you in.
