10th anniversary trip!!

We know it’s a little early but with Gill being a teacher September is hard to get away. But on the 29th it will be our 17th dating anniversary! We’re off to Burlington, VT! 9 years married to my favorite human! This day is a special one! I’m so grateful to have called you my wife for all these years but you’re so much more than that. You’re my bestest friend. My partner in all the crimes. My forever disco partner. The best of festival duos. The Jaddin to my Alazmin. The Eve to my Adam. I’m so grateful to be here and still get to celebrate us and keep growing into something even more special. We’ve grown so much because we have good soil and strong roots. New PR for distance today! 10 Miles! Next stop, Half Marathon. Hoping to get it done in the next couple weeks. Thanks for coming on this journey with me as I become a real deal long distance runner. First 10K in the books! And under a 7:40 average mile! Super stoked and proud of the journey I’ve been over the last year to get my health back. Big Happy Birthday to my forever Partner in Crime! From Dosio to Disco Nights. Nights out to Nights in. Music Fests to Musicals. G@g to you and me. You are the most fun and grounding person in this whole universe. You have helped make me who I am today and who I continue to become. I can never imagine doing this life thing with anyone else. I don’t usually do this but 2024 was quite the year for me! It was the year I got my health back. One by choice and one I was kinda forced into but turned into something I completely fell in love with also! Here’s the recap!

-Cut 18” on my dread to relieve some serious neck pain

-Started the journey to get my teeth finally taken care of and my health/smile back

-Had all my teeth extracted and dental implants put in thanks to the absolute greatest dental office and people in the business @potomacdentalcentre

-Got to see @papadosio a ton of times at many festivals and concert venues with our favorite family in the universe. Our Dosio Fam! Along with wearing all the corduroy of course! Best corduroy couple in the game with @dreaded_brews my amazing and supporting wife

-Then got casted as Rocky in Rocky Horror Picture Show which is the last role I thought I would be but boy did it turn out to be an absolute amazing time meeting more amazing people and friends. As well as performing with favorites I had already shared the stage with!

-Then the workout and diet program began. I worked out 4-5 days a week @cushwabrewingco amazing gym while eating a ton of turkey meatballs. Protein. Protein. Protein. Dropped a total of 30 pounds in a 4 month span while getting my heath even better! I also tanned for 2 months to get that forever glow that Rocky needs.

-Our forever friend came to see @papadosio again for the Night and Day 10 year anniversary. Weinerman also had quite the year. If you know, you know.

-Our old man Patchman Jones is continuing to be the best kitty in the world. Loving with his Daddy and Momma any chance he can get!

-Christmas with our Sunny Girl was a great success!

-Ready for the new year @cushwabrewingco with my amazing team!

If you made it this far thanks for reading! This year has honestly been what I believe is the best year of mine and our life as husband and wife. Gill and I have learned so much more about each other and I can’t wait to see what our future holds this year and forever! This is Rocky! I am Rocky! I’m him!

But I’m all seriousness I’ve been having a blast getting into this crazy character. I’ve enjoyed working out 4-5 days a week and eating very healthy. Also tanning. Yeah I know. It’s crazy being a brewer and only having beer one day a week but the no carb thing is working. I hope you all get to come out and see myself and some amazing talented hoomans! And Aliens! 8 years married to this hooman who I get to call mine every day of my existence! 15 years together which now means we’ve been married longer than not in this long strange trip. That feels so good to say! An incredible accomplishment by two individuals who grew into one strong root! You will forever be my person.

You’re favorite dancing and singing brewer will be back on the stage in October! Alongside my wife and some seriously talented friends and soon to be new friends! Hellooooo Again Everybody!!!

5 days since surgery and these days haven’t all been easy but the worst wasn’t even close to some of the pain I had over the last 10 years! I had all 28 teeth pulled and 10 implants installed on the top and 4 implants on the bottom. Then will get 2-4 more implants on bottom in 3-4 months. The implants secure dentures that clip in to both top and bottom with no movement at all which is amazing and wild to believe. The swelling and pain has subsided immensely. @dreaded_brews has been taking great care of me as expected! I can’t begin to even say how much she means to me through this incredibly tough time! The team at @potomacdentalcentre in Hagerstown are absolute ROCKSTARS! I started to tear up when I first saw my new smile and if it wasn’t for Dr. Rhett and the whole incredible team there I would still be struggling so much and not getting to fully be me. If you have any dental anxiety or feel it’s hopeless with your mouth or smile I recommend them 1000%! I promise you won’t be disappointed and if you are I’ll fight you! The speech will take time but I was singing in the car a little today and I know that will come back in no time! Thank you to everyone for commenting and reaching out personally to me throughout this last week. In some of my tough times I really relied on you and your love. You all mean the world to me! Hellooooo Everybody!!!!

So I like to keep a lot of my personal life private but tomorrow I have something very exciting and nerve-racking that I could use all your healing vibes from. I’ve struggled with my mouth for over 10 years and tomorrow I am having some intense oral surgery. I’m super excited for this journey but it won’t be without some hard times and healing. If you can send all the quick healing and good thoughts I would love for y’all to send them! My amazing wife @dreaded_brews will be taking care of me the next few days and if you can’t get ahold of me she’ll be the one to reach out to. She’s my absolute rock and I wouldn’t have started this journey if it wasn’t for her. Can’t wait to smile so big for her for the rest of forever! This is gonna be a journey over the next 3-6 months and I can’t wait for what’s to come! Hopefully next year you’ll see me on Survivor winning the million dollars with my new forty thousand dollar smile! 😁 If you read this all I love you! And if you didn’t I love you even more just for being part of my life. I love all you amazing humans! I’ll be all drugged up listening to @papadosio over the next week if you need me!
