DreadX is my babie🫶🏽

As a small business owner, finding a balance between work & my personal life can be super daunting.

I find myself getting caught up in the everyday operations of running my own ship, but I have to remember that getting out & prioritizing my personal life is just as important.

2024 tips to myself & the rest of you bad ass business owners how to manage your workload & personal life:

✨Stay on task:
Make a list of what’s number one priority to your least.
✨Set reachable goals:
Daily, weekly & monthly goals that are realistic.
✨Take a break:
Step away for 10-15 minutes. Go grab lunch and come back. You want to avoid getting burnt out. Go recharge that mind!
✨Set Boundaries:
I’m still working on this one myself because I work 24/7 but outside of work hours you should not take work calls, texts or emails. Be present and intentional with your time.
✨Automize:
Learn how to automate your workload.
Workload automation helps you take important tasks that need to be done but can be delegated over to someone else or an automated system like a virtual assistant/ programs. This helps you focus on things that need your attention.
Don’t underestimate the work you put into your business. You want it bad enough? You’ll go get it! You might fall on your face a few times but this is how we grow!
Keep it up your doing great🫶🏽

If your locs have been feeling heavy, limp, or holding onto lint, this is your sign to do a proper reset 👏🏽
An ACV detox isn’t just satisfying to watch it’s nonnegotiable if you want to get deep seated product buildup and mineral deposits out of the hair core without wrecking your strands. Regular shampoo can’t touch what’s hiding inside mature locs.

✨Drop a comment:
How often do you do a deep detox wash on your locs?
Once a season
Twice a year
or is this your first time seeing it done?
Let me know below!👇🏽

Supporting someone else’s business will NEVER ruin yours✨
Behind every small business is a person with a dream, a passion and a whole lot of hard work. We all know how much goes on behind the scenes, so let’s support one another rather than compete.
Every like, share, comment and save helps more than you think. It helps small businesses reach new audiences, get their work seen and connect with potential customers.
And did you know?
✨Engaging with content may help your own algorithm, too! By interacting with content in your industry, you can help shape what you see in your feed and discover more like-minded businesses and creators.
So like the post, leave a genuine comment, share someone’s work, save something you love, check in and say hello.
You never know how much a small gesture could mean to someone building their dream.
BE A GIRLS’ GIRL.
SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESS.
CELEBRATE EACH OTHER.
Let’s grow together, not against each other.

How a custom set actually gets prepped to survive shipping across the country without losing its shape.
When you’re packing up handmade work, you can’t just toss it in a box. Here is the breakdown of what goes into securing a custom order:
⚡️Secure the foundation: Every set is bundled and banded tightly to prevent friction and frizz during transit.
⚡️Moisture & crush protection: Using the right layers so nothing gets bent or compressed under pressure.
⚡️The final touch: Adding care instructions so the client knows exactly how to maintain their investment from day one.
