1 active guard, 2 hyperactive dogs, 3 actively inefficient latches on the same door, 4 actively persistent fellas. Count to 5 til we breeze past all of that to witness an absolutely ridiculous sunrise. Watching it change the whole cityscape’s color beneath our feet into whichever palette the sky picks for each stage, purple to pink to red to orange to yellow. All in absolute silence and jaw-dropping awe. No matter how many times you actively frustrate me and put roadblocks in my mood ways, after all you somehow consistently make it happen and achieve it, Paris. My appreciation and kudos. Sometimes most of these experiences feel like a part of my imagination. It’s hard to brush off the surrealism of this sequence. First - seeing Tower Bridge framed in my bedroom, never really considering it more than a mere historical sight, identifying London and the UK as a whole for tourists. Second - being hosted 10 minutes walk away from it during my first time ever in the city and seeing it as the first thing, just like that. Third - arriving to the same area a year later only to discover one slight enhancement in the form of two sharply vertical crane jibs. Fourth - effortlessly getting an uncharacteristically powerful sunset having the bridge stretch out across Thames right in front of my eyes, except this time I have a much better viewpoint.

And finally, fifth - nailing the night sitting uncomfortably above the bridge as close to it as one can imagine, surrounded by genuine, open-minded, exciting and excited people who might partially still be the reason I’m posting here and doing these dumb risky moves here n there. A line in time that stretches beyond my exploring journey and completely erases the understanding of whether I’d imagined all of that to myself or it had all been real. My real life imaginary world.
