One of this summer’s most exciting attractions has officially arrived! 🌊 Typhoon Twister, the newest attraction at Bingemans Big Splash Waterpark, is now open for the season! The four-lane waterslide adds a new level of excitement to the park, featuring custom-engineered twists and turns down a steep hillside. MTE was proud to serve as the Engineer of Record for this exciting project, providing multidisciplinary engineering services and coordinating the overall project to help bring this new attraction to life. Our team contributed expertise in: 🔹 Structural Engineering – Engineer of Record, coordination of design services, conversion of the existing pool into an underground storage tank with the slide run-out slab, retaining wall design, and construction review. 🔹Civil Engineering – Site grading and municipal servicing design. 🔹Surveying – Existing conditions surveys and construction layout. 🔹Geotechnical Engineering – Site investigations and soil, concrete, and steel testing. Thank you to the entire project team who helped to bring Ontario’s newest waterslide to life. Let the summer begin! 😎 Read the full case study on our website with the link in our bio. @jwebercontracting @engineeredconcreteltd @proslidetech - Design and engineer team for the waterslide, including the support steel and associated foundations. #waterslide #waterpark #engineering by @dreambird.ca
A new way of showing what we’re up to in a format we’re actually excited about. Partly to ditch the polished portfolio pieces for videos people actually want to watch when scrolling social media. Mainly because we wanted a time capsule. A series of videos documenting this journey so we can show our kids one day and they can laugh at how we looked. by @dreambird.ca

This one was a milestone for us. In January, we packed up and headed to Kansas City to shoot a video for Therakos LLC. The goal was to take their medical device and make a loopable video that captures how impressive the instrument is. Something that stops people mid-stride at a trade show and actually holds their attention. It was our most technical studio shoot to date, which meant getting to use lighting and equipment in ways we’ve always wanted to, with the creative freedom to set everything up exactly how we thought was best.    Honestly, just a really fun opportunity to play around and see what we could pull off.   A huge thank you to Daniel Carr & Elizabeth B. for bringing us in on this and trusting us with their vision! And @trentwebr for helping us dial in the lighting and camera setup. by @dreambird.ca
Last October, we flew to LA to capture how @monostravel and @honeylove are using Frate Returns ( acquired by @route ) [Check out snippets from the Monos spotlight below] The aesthetic of the Monos store and the creative freedom given by Frate, allowed us to have some fun and pull together a final edit that doesn’t feel like your standard corporate testimonial. These customer spotlights/testimonials are easily some of our favourite videos to produce, and we’re stoked with how this one turned out! by @dreambird.ca
PART 2: VIDEO - @hyundaicanada wanted us to capture the driving experience and visual appeal of the new Elantra TCR Edition. Our mission: make people FEEL the car through their screens. The day was packed with filming for social ads, a teaser video, PR content and capturing b-roll for automotive journalists. Glad to be a part of this launch for the N Brand on their 10th anniversary! by @dreambird.ca
PART 1: PHOTOS - @hyundaicanada asked us to create a set of dark, moody teaser shots, followed by daylight images to officially launch the new Elantra TCR Edition. We love any shoot that pushes us creatively, and we’re pretty stoked with how this one came together! Stay tuned for tomorrow for some of the video content! by @dreambird.ca
