Patriotism can be felt in movies, but in Kargil, you feel it deep within your soul.
When you read the final words written by soldiers before their martyrdom, you don’t return as the same person you were before. Goosebumps, silence, tearful eyes, and a heavy heart — all at once.

That place makes you realise the true meaning of sacrifice, not only of our soldiers but also of the families who gave their sons, husbands, and fathers to the nation.
Only then do you truly understand the value of the Indian Army and every armed force protecting this country.

Every Indian should visit Kargil at least once in their lifetime. 🇮🇳.

Three months of loving each other through screens, calls, countdowns, and missed presence… until finally the distance ended for a little while.

He had been asking me for so long to wear a saree for him, and I wanted our reunion to feel special in the softest way possible. But the moment I was about to see him, my heartbeat turned wild — almost like I was meeting him for the very first time again. That is the strange beauty of long distance love: no matter how familiar the person is, every reunion still feels new, emotional, and overwhelming.

For this memory, I chose this dreamy cottagecore saree with delicate vintage lace from @roohani_in , and honestly, it felt like wearing every little emotion I had carried for months. Elegant, light, timeless — exactly how I imagined this moment to be.

And somewhere between airport gates and clouds, the compliments kept pouring in — the sweetest ones coming from the crew members of @airindia which actually made my heart blush. My first ever air travel experience in a saree became far more magical and emotional than I had imagined.

Maybe love is just this — carrying your longing across cities, and finally arriving as someone’s favourite sight ✨
