Dreamchasers Boxing manager Vishare Mooney is proud to announce the re-signing of light flyweight contender Andy Dominguez. Dominguez, among the top 15 in the world WBA and WBC rankings, with a 13-1 record, has fought the likes of elite boxers such as former world champion Byron Rojas, Olympian Yankiel Rivera and elite prospects Cris Rios and Angel Morales; he holds the WBC USA Silver Light Fly title. He hails from the Bronx; his amateur career shaped by Mendez Boxing Gym, where he earned three NY Golden Glove titles before turning pro in 2020. He currently trains out of Salas Boxing Academy in Las Vegas, under world champion trainer Ismael Salas. He was named National Boxing Hall of Fame’s Rising Star in 2023 and is the subject of the award winning documentary “First It Was My Dream”. Dominguez has been managed by Mooney, for his entire career.
“Andy will continue his march towards a world title; he has an electric presence in the ring, always exhibiting great boxing skills against top opponents and giving the fans a great show” said Mooney, “He is everything that is great about the sport and I am privileged to work with him.”
