on a sunny, dreamy Sunday in Herbert von King Park we hosted Volume 11 of Steeped in Sound!

@taylormaudelove opened the event with a guided meditation, @jillpilld blessed us with an ethereal harp set, HVK legend @professa_prince smashed a multi-hour DJ set, and @theteastandnyc served unlimited free tea.

shoutout to the local vendors/artists who came out: @joyce.lau led cyanotype printing, @valerie.hauyen led tarot readings, @bleubirdbooks offered books and trinkets, and @samsonceramic brought handmade ceramics.

SO MUCH LOVE to @dreamertori for putting together this sexy video edit ❤️

Steeped in Sound is a DIY community event series hosted by @staygoldleeway and @theteastandnyc. we host volumes bimonthly on Sunday afternoons!

Volume 12 coming very very very soon :) taken in Herbert Von King Park by @dreamertori

i crawl deeper inside myself, and watch as i dissolve against the sunrays — you put your head on my shoulder — im secretly relieved i can still be held. i watch your face fall: I’m not quite sure what it means, but wish that i did.

let’s not compare it to the past. now, the world is bigger. at least we found our way back to each other.🌠 by @dreamertori
