𝘠𝘰𝘶’𝘷𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘸𝘦𝘢𝘬! 𝘋𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘸…𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦. 𝘞𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢 𝘨𝘰𝘥; 𝘸𝘦 𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘸𝘢𝘺.I adore @grimildemalatesta ‘s creations. They make beautiful additions to the halls of 𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕 costume design, and I nearly shrieked for joy when she announced that she was making Domina-style dresses. I really enjoyed the show, and I had to get my hands on one. Got to plan out a Domina concept for a sunset shoot with @lightbeacon_photography in the hills— gorgeous weather fit for some poison, letters, and power. 🐍—This is my first Roman Empire-themed shoot, and I ended up styling my hair closer to the hairstyles on Domina. I’d love to learn how to style my hair so that it resembles the elaborate wigs from the Rome HBO show (one of my all-time favs) and Spartacus.Lesson I learned for next time: use thicker ribbon for the “belt” so that it’s stabler!!! The gold braid was pretty, but it kept on shifting around instead of bringing more shape to the look. 😭 With that lesson in mind, I’m so happy with these pics.
