POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Tight schedule. Full team. Every individual shot. No problem.

Media Day with Middletown Varsity Cheer was rapid fire. We had a short window to get through team and individual shots, and every cheerleader stepped in front of my camera already knowing exactly what pose she wanted to throw down. One after another, they nailed it and kept the tempo moving.

When a team is this prepared, I get to focus on the details that make each shot pop. Huge thanks to the squad and coaches for bringing that level of experience and making a fast session look easy.

Coaches and parents/boosters - if you need sports photography services for any teams this school year, please reach out and let’s chat!

Appoquinimink Varsity Cheer showed up ready to go for Media Day, and really delivered during an extended shoot.

My goal for this media day was simple: capture who these girls really are, not just a lineup of uniforms and poses. They made that easy. The energy never dropped, the enthusiasm was contagious, and they came in with their own pose ideas that took the shoot to another level. Every one of them let her personality shine, and it shows in every frame.

Huge thanks to the cheerleaders and coaches for making this one so much fun. Sessions like this remind me why I love shooting media days: when a team is this invested, the photos stop being just team pictures and start telling their story.

Coaches and parents/boosters - If your team needs media day photos for any season this year, reach out and let’s talk!

Kennett Varsity Volleyball — Media Day

Just like their JV counterparts, not one player missed media day for @kennettvball Varsity volleyball team. Every name on the roster, present and accounted for — and honestly, that says a lot about this group before you even pick up a camera.

What stood out most was the energy they walked in with. This wasn’t a team going through the motions. They were engaged, feeding off each other, having a genuinely good time in front of the lens. On top of that, they weren’t shy about pitching ideas, poses they wanted to try, shots they thought would look great, little creative touches that made the whole session more collaborative than most.

Sessions like this are exactly why I do what I do. I really enjoyed working with both teams and hope to do so again in the future.

Every single player on Kennett’s Junior Varsity volleyball team showed up for media day. Full roster, zero no-shows — you love to see that kind of commitment as the season gets underway

The energy this team brought was next level — locked in, hyping each other up between shots, genuinely excited to be there. And they came with ideas too, from pose suggestions, team concepts, little touches that made the whole session better. That’s the kind of collaboration that turns a shoot into something special.

Days like this remind me why I love this work. Thank you, Kennett Volleyball, for such a fun, easy session.

Every model’s journey starts with a first shoot — and @rryanboyd just took hers.

Ryan reached out wanting to get into modeling, so we built the foundation of her portfolio with a relaxed outdoor session. She was a complete natural, and we really bonded throughout the shoot. She was amazing to work with, and it shows in every frame.

Watching someone take that first step toward a dream never gets old. I can’t wait to see where this goes with Ryan.

Fashion shoots have made for a fun and creative summer, and there are more to come. But with school right around the corner, senior portraits, media days, and game days are almost here, too. I’m looking forward to an exciting season ahead with seniors, sports, and all the new stories we’ll get to tell.

All of my sessions are special. This one stands out for reasons that have nothing to do with the photos. Meet Anna.

We shot Anna’s session after commencement, when campus had emptied out and the semester was done. She almost didn’t do grad photos at all.

During her junior year, Anna was seriously hurt in an accident on Main Street — one that took a life and shook this whole community. Coming back to campus carried a weight after that. The anxiety was real, and nobody would have blamed her for skipping this project entirely.

But she showed up. And more than anything, I wanted her last memory of this place to be a good one — an exclamation point instead of a question mark. We chatted and laughed a bit the whole way through. She had fun, real fun, and you can see it in every single frame.

She told me afterward that it helped. That might be the best thing anyone’s ever said about my work.

Congrats, Anna. You closed this chapter on your own terms.

#UniversityOfDelaware #BlueHens #GradSession #DelawarePhotographer #ClassOf2026 by @dreamscapestudios

Every modeling journey starts somewhere — and Victoria’s starts right here.

Victoria reached out wanting to break into modeling and build a portfolio from the ground up, so we kicked it all off with a sunrise session on the beach. First shoot, first light, first step.

While I also focus on senior portraits and sports photography — which I absolutely love — fashion is where I started my journey, and it’s where my editorial style was developed. Mentoring and developing models, helping someone find their confidence and their look in front of the camera, building a portfolio piece by piece… that’s been part of my work from the very beginning. So guiding Victoria through her first shoot felt like coming full circle.

She was great to work with, and this is only the start of what we’re building together. Can’t wait to see where this goes.

Every athlete has a story — and my favorite part of this job is helping tell it.

Meet Lina. On the field she’s all business: focused, competitive, the kind of player who leaves everything between the lines. But when her mom and I talked about how to capture her, we knew the softball shots were only half of it. Lina’s faith is just as much a part of who she is as the game she loves — so we made space for both. A few frames with her glove, a few with her Bible, and together they tell the whole story of this young woman, not just the athlete.

That’s what I want every one of these sessions to be. Not just “good sports photos,” but a real portrait of who you are — what drives you, what grounds you, what you’ll look back on years from now and be proud of.

If you’ve got a high school athlete in your life, this is the season to capture it. I do individual sports portraits like Lina’s, and I work with teams and programs for media day — headshots, game action, senior banners, the whole lineup, all in one stop. Let’s tell your story before this chapter’s over.

Every so often a session comes with a story too good not to share. Meet Nicole.

Nicole told me she found my work online, kept looking around “just to be thorough,” but kept coming back to my photos. Here’s the wild part — as we were chatting at the end of the session, we realized we’d actually met two years ago. She was our waitress the night a photographer friend and I grabbed dinner to catch up, and one of us handed her a card. That card was mine. She’d lost it, but somehow found her way back to me anyway.

And the kicker?

A few days later, packing up to move home after commencement, she finally found that original card from two years ago — and sent me a photo of it right next to the one I gave her at our session. Two cards, two years apart, same photographer. Some things are just meant to be.

Congrats, Nicole!! So glad the universe brought us back around. 💙💛

Shots from a recent modeling portfolio development day with @alisa_versatile.

Clean light, simple styling, and a model who came ready to work. We kept these looks bright and commercial — the kind agencies and brands actually want to see. Loved building this set with her.

Two UD grads, one unforgettable session — meet Sydney and Riley!

These two have been friends since childhood and now they’re roommates closing out their Blue Hen chapter together. We clicked on our consultation call and I just knew the shoot would be a blast — and they did not disappoint. So much fun and so much energy start to finish.

Congrats, Sydney and Riley!! Onto the next adventure.

Another UD grad to celebrate — say hi to Avrey!

Some sessions just feel like catching up with a friend, and this was one of them. We talked the whole way through, the photos came easy, and that relaxed energy shows in every single frame.

Congrats, Avrey!! So happy for you.
