I was not ready…. And I’m still not ready. But that will never be an excuse for me to not show up for him and our family. He didn’t ask to be here so I owe it to him to give him the proper foundation to succeed in the flawed and unfair system we call life

God blessed me with a son. My he give me the the strength and guidance to help me build him into 10 times the man I am and everything that he desires to be

Thank you to all family and friends that have shown up and choose to be a part of our/his life…..it means the world.

Bro has only mean mugged us outside…. He has every one of my facial expressions…….🤦🏾‍♂️ by @dreoftheeast

If you sit down and talk with some of our youth, not to shame them, but to ask questions to understand their prospective, you’ll understand that a lot of them have valid points… it’s on us to lead them away from the surface level validity. Cause a valid point ain’t always the best option. When you make them feel stupid for being young and making a decision, it does nothing but make them rebel…. This guy was able to articulate how he felt & why he made his decision. That’s intellectual…. That’s intelligence…. It’s on us to take it from there…… by @dreoftheeast
