I used to want to be a therapist. There’s something about sitting down with someone and listening to the hardest thing they’ve ever gone through. Losing a baby, a friend, a parent, a partner. Sexual assault. Being cheated on. Marriage hardships. A sick child. Eating disorders. Mental illness. Life is really really really hard on some people. Maybe most people? But in my studio, we cry. We work through things. We create a lifelong bond without ever having met before. We joke about stupid things and we get to put our walls down for a few hours before we go back to the real world. Whether I see you once or a thousand times, you leave a little mark on my studio and on me, and I’m forever grateful that I got to be a tattoo artist instead. 🤍 by @drew.bays
