There are some stories that only God could’ve written…

When I was called back to law enforcement, I was angry with God because all I wanted to do was ministry. The season I was in was great- preaching every Sunday, traveling to speak, coaching men…everything I wanted.

I am just now starting to see why I’m back and it’s only the beginning. The conversation with @bambam0069 on @wildchaospodcast came with many things.

My favorite thing being the countless amount of people who reached out saying my story gave them hope that God can redeem their mistakes just like He did mine.

Over the past week, the vision has been made clear. First responders need help and evil doesn’t discriminate when it comes to mental health. This conversation was (and always has been) my attempt at “I’ll go first”. You have a past? I’ll tell you about mine first. You made a big mistake? Google me. You’re struggling with anxiety? I’ve been there.

Within the last 7 days, I’ve already spoken to and partnered with first responder wellness foundations and peer support groups and it’s only the start.

God has turned my mess into my message and my pit into my platform. I’ll spend the rest of my days telling people about it.

Looking forward to hitting stages, peer support trainings, men’s groups, church services, small groups, serve days, one on one meetings, and more all 2026 to bring people a message of hope!

My 2 year old could barely make it halfway up the slide when we first got to the park today. She got frustrated and started whining every time she would slip and slide down.

After about 15 minutes of consistently trying again and each time getting higher, she eventually made it to the top.

While it may take you more than 15 minutes, you have to keep climbing. Nobody is coming to save you or climb for you. When you climb you not only get better at climbing, but eventually you arrive at your desired destination.
