Sometimes races don’t go according to plan and you have to fight through the pain cave to the bitter end. This was one of those moments for me. It sucks to finish so far off of a personal best, but there is beauty in the struggle, and we’re lucky to always have the opportunity to learn from our experiences and move forward in a positive way.

Shoutout to all friends and family who supported me throughout and in the culmination of this marathon build, and to all the new friends I made through my one-off experience with @pumarunning Project3! Lots of work to look forward to this winter to reach some lofty goals, but I’m excited for the lock-in with @runlikedylan 👀. Here’s to what’s next!

What an incredible weekend! First world major marathon, perfect conditions, and a new PB by over a minute. That’s not even mentioning the amazing people I met from all over the world, thanks for bringing out the best energy I have ever experienced during a race!

Ten years ago, I didn’t even know what a marathon was. Now I can say I’ve finished Top 100 in the Boston Marathon!! I am so grateful for all I’ve been able to accomplished so far and look forward to continuing to push myself to be the best athlete I can be.
