POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Hey everyone! I’ve been doing some thinking and realized it’s time for a change. Over the past couple of years, I’ve grown so much as a person and a photographer. To reflect that growth, I’ll be sharing different kinds of images here from now on.

I’ve created a new page, @drewoak_photography (still a work in progress), where I’ll be posting client photos and collaborations. This page, though, is going to get more personal and intimate, filled with the moments and stories that mean the most to me.

Here’s a photo I snapped on May 20th while fishing in beautiful Caledonia. Thanks for being part of this journey with me!

In the gallery of memories, a portrait remains,
Brushstrokes of feelings, intricate refrains.
Time's gentle hand may have altered the frame,
Yet the essence within is still held by the same.

A journey once shared on a winding trail,
Footprints of laughter, a tender unveil.
Though divergent roads beckoned us apart,
Your presence lingers, engraved in my heart.

Like a novel's pages, turned by destiny's hand,
Unspoken emotions like grains of sand.
In the echo of silence, a letter takes flight,
Carried by whispers of the starlit night.

Moments concealed between the lines so fine,
Subliminal messages, a secret design.
Wishing you well as the seasons unfold,
In the story of life, where our memories hold.

As the sun dips below the horizon's embrace,
May a hidden smile linger, a gentle trace.
In the vast sea of time, currents may sway,
Yet these sentiments remain, come what may. taken in High Park by @drew_oak

Last summer I traded my Pentax MG (1981) for a Nikon FG-20 (1984), both 35mm film SLR cameras.

These are from my first roll on the FG-20, shot on some recently expired Kodak Gold 200 while visiting Port Dalhousie.

Just processed and scanned, and decided to share. 📷 🎞️
