Praise God for blessing me with an awesome summer by @drewabney11

Romans 8:28 “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose.”

It’s been a dream of mine to win a state championship. This year felt different. We weren’t just teammates, we were best friends. I truly thought this was the year. But it wasn’t and that’s okay. A state championship is an EARTHLY desire, and we lost it. But, I find PEACE in knowing that JESUS WON when he defeated sin and death and that is all I need to be fully satisfied.

Thank you Pope baseball for the best years of my life. Gimme Dat Nation will always have a special place in my heart. #GDN #JESUSWON by @drewabney11
