Season 2️⃣ in the books!
I think it’s important to give people like @slampat their flowers. The guy is dedicated to the sport and committed to producing high-level shooters. The value at CTG is as high as ever. 👁️💨
BUT the work still has to be put in.
I’m a year and a half in. I gained a massive amount of major-match experience this season, and now I’m highly motivated to transform this winter.
The lessons are there. The work starts now.
Excited to make a splash next season.
Let’s go! 🧊⛏️ by @drewblasting

Keep stacking the days. The results will eventually tell the story. 💪🏼 by @drewblasting

The why.

Why keep going? Why spend the time, the money, and the energy? Why break it all down just to build it back again?

Everyone has their own why. But when you find yours, the work becomes the reward. Real effort does not exist without pain. by @drewblasting

I’ve been fortunate enough to live a pretty cool life.
Different states. Different people. Different chapters.

Everyone is just trying to figure this life out.
There’s no perfect path. No secret formula. I’ve never met anyone with the answers.

You live. You love. You win. You fail. You start over.
The scenery changes. You change.

But the story keeps moving. You’re the main character.

Don’t stop. 🎬 by @drewblasting

The goal cost what it cost. Pay it or stop pretending you want the results. It’s time to double down and bet on yourself! 🎰 by @drewblasting

I’ve always loved little phrases that carry big meanings when it comes to teaching.

When I was teaching tennis, one of my favorites was, “You’re only as good as your second serve”

The shooting world is full of them too. Phrases that, on the surface, seem simple…but the further you get on your journey, the more they start to mean something different.

“Sooner, not faster”
“No rules”

A lot of teaching content is regurgitated and recycled. The same concepts, the same words, the same advice.
But every once in a while, you hear something you’ve heard a hundred times before…and somehow, the words hit differently.

Maybe your skill has changed.
Maybe your understanding has changed.
Maybe you’re finally ready to hear what those words were actually trying to teach you.
That’s what I love about training.
You never really arrive.

Always a student. Always learning. Always working like I don’t belong. by @drewblasting
