Just want to share with everyone that I’ve made the decision to step away from House Calls. This is a decision that I’ve been caught in between for a while now. When I think about the future of HC, I see limitless potential and success, but when I think about my personal dreams and aspirations, I would only be handcuffed by my own creation. Coming to this conclusion was the single most difficult moment of my life, but clear as day. It was about choosing the life that I want to build for myself and the people I love most. When I started HC, it was a true labor of love, an act of service. I could’ve never dreamed for it to be as big as it is now. But not without every single attendee, artist and staff member.

The original intention behind starting HC was to bring people together. It was to share a common interest and love for music and dance. It was to be human and imperfect, in a time when the world needed it most. But the world needs it now more than ever. To so many people, HC is their home. Almost all of the staff do this part time/on the side, and it’s their dedication that keeps the dream alive and thriving. I trust that the current team in place will bring HC’s original intention to the world 🌎 ❤️

I cannot wait to keep selflessly creating in new ways, and I’m excited for the future. I’ve got a few trophies in the case just in this lifetime, but so far HC is my favorite 🏆 Don’t stop picking up and I won’t stop calling 🏠 ☎️

☘️ The Grand Chiluck. This Saturday at 10AM, we gather inside the Navy Pier Grand Ballroom for something that goes beyond just partying.

It’s a celebration of history, civic pride, and the belief that music can bring people closer together.

Everything you see, hear, and experience has been chosen with intention and with the idea of serving something bigger than ourselves. Our team has put in so much work on this one, we can’t wait to share it with you all.
