Got to wear my cousin’s bunad this year for May 17 (National Norwegian Day). This one is a Nordaker-style bunad, with an embroidered design that comes from an area called Jelsa, a small village in south-west Norway, in Rogaland county.

This bunad was embroidered in 1969 for my grandmother by her mother-in-law and my grandfather’s sister. My aunt inherited it from her grandmother about 30–35 years ago. Then, around 10 years ago, she passed it on to her daughter, my cousin. taken in Stavanger, Norway by @drewithanaccent

I’m going to keep this relatively short and as little corny as possible. It’s also impossible to summarise everything I want to highlight.
2025 was the year where my life took a positive turn, including my professional life.
I survived my first lay-offs and ended the year with what I can only describe as a dream job.
I started 2025 reporting on issues and topics that are so dear to my heart.
The year continued with exciting opportunities, from attending the Crufts to my first red carpet interviews, and getting published for the first time in the British paper.
So, I’ve put together a little highlight of my favourite interviews I’ve done this year 🖤
I’m proud to have included LGBTQIA+ issues in mainstream media, and I will continue to work hard to do so (btw, nominate me in the Writer category for the 2026 Diva Awards lol!)
I also want to thank my interviewees from the bottom of my heart. You have all been so wonderful, open, interesting, honest, funny, smart, and I’ve learn something new from each and every one of you
Can’t wait to see what 2026 brings. And please, my DMs are always open for interview opportunities, pitches, tips, and educational conversations.
Saying bye to the year of the 🐍, thanking her for her wisdom, transformation, resourcefulness, and for all her new opportunities. by @drewithanaccent

This post will sound probably a little “too much” for some, but if you’re a pet owner, you’ll definitely get it.
In 2023, I lost my soul dog, Karl. He was my best companion, I brought him everywhere, and my whole life was based on a routine that included him. I was crushed when I lost him, and to this day, I still mourn him everyday.
Around the time of his death, my life took a bad turn. I ended up jobless after quitting over my boss harassing me, and I therefore didn’t have the stability yet to welcome a new dog.
This year, everything has changed for the better, and my life was finally stable enough to welcome him: Puck.
Puck arrived in London from Romania in a van, after a 3 day journey, on November 21. He was a street pup, and is a rescue. He’s two years old and is very smart but very wary.
He’s now trusting me enough to embrace him and be in proximity like in the video. But there’s still a lot of work to be done, he has obviously not had it easy before.
Puck is a gentle boy, and I’m so proud of him🖤 can’t wait to do life with now 🖤 taken in London, United Kingdom by @drewithanaccent

Is using all 20 pics capacity for a photo dump too much? Anyways, here’s my redneck Swiss summer and bits of Brighton Pride (and a cool crow trying to offer cigarettes to his friend + my fav sign from Trans Pride) 🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛ taken in London, United Kingdom by @drewithanaccent
