Happy 2nd Year Anniversary to my wife, my life partner, my oontink, my rah rah, my sharer of all things musical, universal, and truly weird, and my favorite person to come home to! 💍💐👰🏻‍♀️🤵🏻
Over the last two years of marriage, our love has grown in ways I can’t even comprehend on most days. I’m in awe of our true love and commitment, and I am as stoked about being with you today as I did the first day we met. You came out of the blue, and I never looked backwards. ❤️
I love reflecting on all our wedding day where nearly all of our combined family and friends were there to witness our union and to celebrate the two of us discovering love within each other. We pulled off a pandemic wedding @deseversky that I bet will be remembered forever. We are together forever, we are safe, and we will conquer all the difficult challenges life will throw us. I love you, forever!

PS: Thank you everyone who was there or not that continue to join us on our adventure. We love you all!

On Monday morning my dad, Harrison Seigla, took his last breath and was united with God. He had battled various vascular & heart health issues for decades that made his day to day experience one filled with chronic pain, blocking him from many opportunities to live out his life to it’s fullest, however, you would never know it…

Dad always found a way to push through his pain and made it his goal to show up for those around him instead. He always had this boundless ability to pump up whoever he was interacting with & to always make them feel special and worthy to walk in their own spotlight.
He constantly saw life through the lens of an artist. He taught me how to sing through his beautiful tenor tone, he filled melodies with interesting harmonies, and he even had a poem of his published titled, “Love Is.”
He would see the funny side to things and always found humor in the mundane drumming of life. The most creative person I knew, I would always marvel at his personality and say “where do you come up with this stuff!?”
He treasured being “Pepaw” to his grandson Wyatt….My brother Brian and sister-in-law Sara created and raised the best kid in Wyatt and dad connected with him over watching movies like Boss Baby and laughing during weekend sleepovers. He loved his niece Brooke with all his heart and he would guide her every step along her development to make sure she succeeded in the way she deserved. “Paddy” and Brooke were thick as thieves and enjoyed the simple joys of being silly and acting out.
I would always look forward to our phone calls to save me from the often challenging days of NYC that tested my spirit. He could always lift mine, and mom said I lifted his. But this Monday, November 24th, his spirit left us. Holding his hand and caressing his head, I saw his body release his spirit, a moment I wouldn’t trade in for another, yet a traumatic memory branded on my heart forever. The tears keep flowing as I miss him and contemplate how to move forward. I want to finally thank everyone who has known of his passing for their support, either emotionally or otherwise.

His celebration of life will be sometime in January with that date tbd soon 💔 by @drewseigla

Yesterday marked my first day on campus as a new Adjunct Voice Teacher at @liupost for their Music Theatre Department. All 7 of my freshman are truly wonderful and hearing their individual talents shine through the lessons have been inspiring me ever since. Shout out to all my voice teachers throughout my journey of singing thus far that has led me here to share the knowledge of vocal technique. DM me to work privately if so compelled!
Lastly, thank you @dhugo89 for your trust.
Go Sharks! 🦈🎼🎭

Happy 4th Wedding Anniversary to my wife, my “eesah-rah-rah”, @stephanielynnemason

Over the past 4 years we have witnessed together a spectrum of highs and lows that has strengthened our marriage in ways we hadn’t anticipated, but through these moments of challenge we have grown stronger in ways we couldn’t have imagined. When we took our vows on June 27th, 2022 @deseverskymansion we promised to love each other through it all, and I am so grateful we have kept true to these vows.

I will never forget how special that day was…how incredible it was to have so many of our friends and our family present, showing and giving us their support, and how for several hours I felt weightless & free in a way that nothing could disturb my peace.

I am in awe of how naturally talented, thoughtful, kindhearted, and silly you are. You brighten up my life and allow me to access the best version of myself. These qualities of yours enriches my life daily, and gives me strength and hope knowing such an amazing person as you stands by my side.

Marrying you was the best decision I’ve made, and I know our union will continue to grow further and deeper in love. Mayn Bashert.

Love,

Drew

Today would be my dad, Harrison Seigla’s 72nd Birthday! This day is typically filled with piles of laughter, phone calls of gratitude, and visits from Steph and me, my brother Brian and my sister-in-law Sara, their son & my nephew Wyatt, my brother Todd (when he was still with us…), my niece Brooke, and possibly friends from over at the Atlee Station YMCA.

It’s the first birthday that we cannot celebrate with him here on this physical plane, and I’m meeting this usually happy of happiest days with stirring emotions I’ve been dreading all week long. I’ve wrestled with the immense loss and pain that I’ve had to bottle up for months since his passing to carry onwards in life, but his birthday is a reminder of all of the reasons he meant so much to me and to my family.

As I’ve walked around today and looked into the faces of hundreds of strangers in NYC, I can’t help but see them all through his eyes. Through those open and caring eyes that seemed to reflect an innate ability to accept with genuine curiosity the soul of others around him. I keep receiving more and more smiles actually than usual! I think this is a sign and proof of his influence on me and on how he affected the world.

I miss him so much it can be very painful when it actually hits. If you really know me, he was my dad but also my best friend. A confidant that I could pour any fret or secret upon. A leader of a positive mindset and ambassador for reaching goals who gave me hope and his friends/coworkers always a shield of bravery in the face of adversity and challenge. His memory will always burn brightly in my mind and heart, and life is simply not the same without him.

Below I’m sharing a video reel that my wife, Steph made for his memorial service this January that perfectly sums him up in such a beautiful way that it can make you cry. *Note: that is his singing a song he composed himself in the beginning! He loved and understood music in ways I don’t even*

Here’s a cheers to my dad! Not sure if it’s with wine, PBR, a shot of tequila…maybe all the above! Either way, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD! 🎈🎁🥳🎂🎉

Yesterday, I had to say goodbye to my fluffy little girl, @sophalofagus810 after an 8 month battle with congestive heart failure. To sum this up in 20 photos or whatever words I post won’t “cut it”, but there is a ginormous gaping hole in my heart. She was my soul dog, but she wasn’t just a dog. She was my kindred spirt, my buddy, and we loved each other unconditionally. She was a fluffy spoiled princess. As I told @drewseigla many times, “You’re the love of my life but so is she and she came first,” Sophie saved my life when I brought her home 15 1/2 years ago after my dad’s passing. She taught me how to live and be present in the world. She didn’t just heal me, though…she healed my entire family and brought light, love, smiles and laughter back into our lives. Whenever I was working, she would stay in “Grandma’s mansion” under the best of care with @joyiannarino . Any piece of real estate she stepped in, she was Queen. She was a “bougie bitch” and a “diva doggie” who did not like other dogs but loved her humans so much. The truth is, our wedding day was “her day” because she was so happy they were all in one place and it was “all about her.” I will miss your kisses, going on walks, making your chickie and eggies, your food neurosis (iykyk), playing with your ball, your side eye, our “heart to hearts”, seeing you sprint down the hallway and feeling you in the arch of my back at night. You were always there for mommy in the best and worst of times bringing over your toys when you wanted to play or to get me out of my head. It’s not lost upon me that today marks 18 years since your “grandpa”, my dad, passed. I hope he’s giving you lots of pets and taking good care of you. You will always be my little girl, I will always love you and you touched the lives and hearts of every human you knew. I already miss you so much. I would never trade the heartbreak I’m feeling right now for not having you in my life. I will love and miss you forever, little one. I’m honored to have been your doggie Mommy.💔 Feel free to post any memories or photos that come to mind.

Happy Valentine’s Day to my true love @stephanielynnemason ❤️🌹
You enrich my life every day with you just being yourself. Whether we are together or miles apart, I know we have a connection that is unshakable. I can’t imagine how I could have navigated some of the emotional terrain without you by my side. Rah rah’s stick together and can accomplish great things!
We have grown together this year in ways that excite me so much for the future, and I can’t wait to see what this year brings us both. How lucky to face it together, I love you.

Monday morning my Dad took his last breath on this earth. My Dad was built different. There is no other way to say it. He had this way of making everyone around him feel both at ease and like the best version of themselves. He taught me more than I can put here but the thing I learned most from him is how to treat people. He was selfless, sometimes to a fault, but everyone that came into contact with Harrison Seigla felt seen, appreciated, and amused. Whether it was a joke to ease the tension or a thoughtful observation that made you walk a little taller, or always showing up when it mattered most.

He was Dad to Drew and I but he was Pepaw to my son Wyatt. The two of them were thick as thieves. Whether it was Pepaw at the tennis match, wrestling match, or soccer game, or an impromptu movie date, seeing those two together made my heart so full.

I love you Dad! I miss hearing your voice. I miss seeing your smile. I miss talking about nothing and everything all at once. You fought so damn hard for so long to be there for your family. Now is your time to rest. taken in Mechanicsville, Virginia by @drewseigla
