On February 10th 2025 my incredible father passed away.

My father was my idol growing up, I loved being around him and wanted to be just like him. I remember long car rides listening to his favorite artists Steely Dan, The Killers, The Eagles. I remember going to Yankees games every summer and cheering on Jeter and the gang. He really went out of his way to make my brother and my childhood special.

Don’t get me wrong, my father had his flaws. We never really had a relationship beneath the typical surface level conversations but I understood he loved me, and he showed it in the best way he could.

I wish he could be there for my wedding this year, or to be there for my future kids. I think it’ll really hit me when those moments come and he’s not there.
