One of the bikes that started it all, inspired by reggae culture. Looking back, this one will always have a special place.

Just wanted to pay some tribute to one of the very first designs I ever created.

I feel like I need to open up a little about this project.

This bike was created for Stephen during a difficult time in his life, while he was grieving the loss of his mother. Through a few simple details, initials and two doves symbolising his parents eternally together, this build became something far more special than a custom frameset.

Projects like this remind me why I started Dr. Fixie. I don’t just create bicycles, I create emotional connections, stories, and meaningful experiences that people can carry with them every time they ride their bike or even look at it.

That is part of the purpose behind Dr. Fixie, and Stephen, along with other clients and everyone who has shown love and supported me throughout this journey, has helped bring that vision to life. It brings me great joy to help others and create moments of joy through my art, my designs, and my words.

For me, painting a fixed gear frame is a form of expression. Riding it is another. Sharing love in all its forms is a way of communicating with the world.

What is your way?

Life is precious. Love never disappears. The people we love, even when they are no longer physically here, are never as far away as we think.

Stay present. Live consciously. Remain open to the signs life is always giving you.

Stephen, you will never ride alone 🔥🚲🕊️🕊️

My selecta🤙 Can’t get enough of this rusty finish. Every frame comes out different, and that’s exactly the point, making each one truly one of a kind. It got me in love.

She’s at her happiest out there. A rider should be one with her bike. She is.
