💿River City Rhythm 003 - Devv — Drifting💿

@RevinDattie is one of Canada’s standout producers in Minimal House. He has released with the likes of @pirka.avh and @clara.records, while also co-founding the Toronto-based projects @AllBlakRecords and @YunaImprint.

Not only was the idea for @microminimalrecords created at one of Devv’s events, but he also played at our first-ever party on Toronto’s Bathurst Street in 2019. The Albertan resident now returns to the label, having previously collaborated with @PaulQuzz on Swordfish in 2022.

Drifting evokes the sounds of the 1980s, pairing Quincy Jones-esque production with pensive chord structures, deep bass grooves and a driving, portamento-laden lead synth.

💿River City Rhythm 002 - Auntie Brenda — What’s Your Personality💿

@NotYourAuntieBrenda is a Gold Coast-based artist who has spent the past seven years meticulously refining his sonic palette across both studio and stage. He first cut his teeth in Minimal House through @CampPaprika and recently co-founded @PeaceMotionSounds alongside @SophieMcCoy.

Auntie Brenda has been a welcome addition to the microminimal crew since @overdub.rj moved operations Down Under, first playing at one of our Fortitude Valley events in 2023.

His track brings together a driving synth melody, punchy percussion and tightly controlled sub-bass with chopped, modulated vocal elements and rising synth tones. Momentum builds through the interplay of rhythmic precision, melodic repetition and evolving textures, resulting in a focused and propulsive groove.

💿River City Rhythm 001 - Artro — Polarizado💿

@ArtroOne is a Costa Rican audio engineer, DJ and producer. Alongside managing his studio, @TrialErrorStudio, he has performed around the world and collaborated with a range of labels, including @blkmarket_music, @instinto_records and @thewayout.music.

Arturo has been an integral part of the label since its founding in 2019, contributing to projects spanning releases, DJ mixes and events across the Americas.

Polarizado melds icy percussion hits and delicate string trills with warm pads, lush reverberation and Arturo’s own entrancing vocal overdubs, forming a shifting and immersive soundscape.

River City Rhythm - out now! (Link in bio)

🪩🪩🪩

We’re back with another V.A. compilation, bringing together artists from the Americas, Australasia, Asia and Europe to celebrate the label’s seventh anniversary.

🪩🪩🪩

River City Rhythm is a nominal tribute to Brisbane, Australia, which is the focal point for the East Coast contingent of artists who make up a majority of this release, as well as where @overdub.rj engineered the tracks to tape at @4000Studios.

With thanks to @DRGMastering for the final polish, @ricostylianou for the artwork photo, and everyone who has supported the label since 2019.

Right on time on Bandcamp Friday😄!
DRGL17 welcomes @alexcrs13 , a Bucharest-based producer with an SAE Audio Engineering background and over 15 years of studio experience. Across four dancefloor-focused cuts, the EP blends hypnotic low-end, groovy rhythms and refined sound design. From the vocoder-driven energy of Crash Out and the funky vocal hooks of She’s a Glitch, to the dark piano mood of Step and the textured sound design of Did U, this is a versatile collection built to keep the energy flowing, whether it’s a late-night club or a daytime party.

Out now on bandcamp for 4.20 eur 💚 Barcelona-based producer @djsandwichclub lands on JUUZ with two classy cuts of minimal deep house, shaped with a clear sense of groove, space and restraint.

“Ritme Mig” takes its time, slowly opening up layer by layer around a rolling, musical groove that keeps growing without ever losing its cool. On the flip, “Vale” moves into deeper, dubby after-hours territory, warm, atmospheric and stripped back, with just the right amount of pressure for the late hours.

A refined two-tracker built for listening closely, but ready for the booth when the room calls for something deeper. The EP also includes remixes by @96basic and @fedo.musica , plus a free download remix by Hungarian producer @_niac0 .
