🇬🇧Hi there! The Wolverine game for PlayStation 5 was released recently, and along with it came several accessories—like a controller (which looks pretty cool, though I would’ve added a custom design to the back) and console covers for the PS5, PS5 Slim, or Pro. They all come in either yellow or an off-white/greyish shade (though, in my opinion, the yellow version looks better in every case 🤩). I used to buy special edition consoles, but given the new direction Sony is taking—moving away from physical media—I’ve decided not to invest so much in something that the company itself seems to be undermining. 🇪🇦Hola!!! Estos días ha salido el juego de Lobezno para la PlayStation 5 y con ello han salido varios "acompañamientos" que son un mando (bastante guapo aunque yo habría puesto algo personalizado en su parte trasera), carcasa para la Ps5 o la consola Ps5 Slim o la Pro, todos en color amarillo o blanco grisáceo (que desde mi punto de vista en todos los casos es más guapa la versión amarilla 🤩). The title might sound familiar, as it belongs to the *Brigandine* series, but it can be played as a standalone title since the story is completely independent of the other games. You can choose one of six nations for a campaign where the goal is to prevent the resurgence of the Abyssloa Empire. Each faction features a unique storyline, characters (in addition to the recruitable creatures), and multiple endings, offering plenty of playtime. Battles take place on a turn-based map using a hexagonal grid—very similar to *Fire Emblem*—making for a highly entertaining experience. With a great soundtrack, story, and graphics, *Brigandine: Abyss* is sure to delight fans of strategy RPGs like *Fire Emblem* or *Advance Wars* (though, on the downside, it is in English only 😓, and the Switch 2 version comes with a download code card). Puede que el titulo os suene, y es que este juego pertenece a la saga Brigandine, pero puede jugarse de manera independiente ya que la historia es totalmente ajena a los otros juegos. Aquí podremos escoger una de las seis naciones para jugar una campaña donde deberemos impedir el resurgimiento del imperio Abyssloa. Cada "facción" tendrá diferente historia, personajes (aparte de las criaturas que podremos reclutar) y finales con lo cual tenemos juego para largo. Los combates se jugarán en un mapa con desplazamientos hexagonales (muy parecido a los Fire Emblem) por turnos bastante entretenidos. Con una buena banda sonora, historia y gráficos, si te gustan los Rpgs estratégicos como los Fire Emblem o Advance Wars, sin duda Brigandine: Abyss te encantará (como dato malo decir que viene en inglés 😓 y el juego se Switch 2 viene con Key Card). Lately, there’s been a non-stop stream of announcements regarding games and hardware for the Switch 2 (I can't wait for the new Zelda 🤤), but not long ago, the third installment of the highly anticipated *Final Fantasy VII*—subtitled *Revelation*—was also announced. So, while I wait for the final chapter, I feel like replaying it—but this time, not on PS5; instead, I want to play the Switch 2 version, which boasts amazing quality 😍. Plus, this edition comes with a booster pack from the *Magic: The Gathering* Final Fantasy set 🤩—what more could you ask for? P.S. The American and European collector's editions of *Revelation* seem pretty lackluster to me compared to the Japanese one 🥲. 🇪🇦Hola!!! Estos días han sido un sin fin de anuncios de juegos y dispositivos para la Switch 2 (que ansias de que llegue el Zelda 🤤), pero también no hace mucho se anuncio la tercera parte del tan esperado Final Fantasy VII, bajo el sobrenombre de Revelation. 🇬🇧Hi everyone! Today I received a game that brought back a lot of memories. Around 1997-98 (I don't remember exactly), PlayStation magazines were sold that included free CDs with game demos as advertising (I think it was PlayStation Magazine). On one of those discs, I discovered games like T'ai Fu (a title I really need to get) and Apocalypse, the game I'm going to talk about. The first thing that catches your eye is the cover, with Bruce Willis, who lent his likeness and voice to the game. This game might be a bit old now (about 28 years, wow, I'm getting old 👴🏻), but it still entertains me as much as ever. With a simple premise that places Trey Kincaid (Bruce Willis) in a world ruled by a theocracy, ruled by a man who wants his "vision" to become reality regardless of the destruction it causes, Trey enters the scene, determined to end this "hell on Earth" with a barrage of gunfire. Featuring very straightforward gameplay, this game is the perfect stress reliever that will undoubtedly keep you glued to the screen 🤩. 🇪🇦Hola!!! Hoy me ha llegado un juego que me ha traído una gran nostalgia. Por el año 1997-98 (no lo recuerdo con exactitud) se comercializaban revistas de PlayStation que regalaban CDs con demos de juegos como publicidad (creo que eran las de PlayStation Magazine), en uno de esos discos, descubrí juegos como el T'ai Fu (título que tengo que conseguir) y el Apocalyse, el juego del que os hablaré. Lo primero que nos llama la atención es la portada al ver a Bruce Willis, y es que el actor prestó su imagen y voz. Puede que este juego tenga un tiempo ya (unos 28 años, jo que viejito soy 👴🏻) pero me sigue divirtiendo como siempre. Con un argumento sencillo donde nos pone a Trey Kincaid (Bruce Willis) en un mundo gobernado a base de una teocracia por un hombre que desea que su "vision" sea real sin importar la destrucción que eso cause, ahí es donde entra Trey, que buscará acabar con este "infierno en la Tierra" a base de disparos. 🇬🇧The Atelier series is one of the most famous in the JRPG genre (especially after the Ryza, Sophie, and Yumia trilogy). Recently, they've been releasing compilations of several of their games or trilogies on modern consoles (Switch, PS4, PS5, PS3), but so far I haven't seen any sign of a compilation of the three Atelier games released for the PS2. The Atelier Iris trilogy is a fantastic series that came to the PS2 between 2006 and 2007 and would undoubtedly appeal to any JRPG fan 😍, so I hope they'll release a remastered compilation so that those who missed out on the original games can finally play them. 🇪🇦La saga Atelier es una de las más famosas dentro del mundo de los Jrpgs (sobre todo después de la trilogía Ryza, Sophie y Yumia). Desde hace poco tiempo están sacando recopilaciones de varios de sus juegos o trilogías en las consolas modernas (Switch, PS4, Ps5, PS3) pero por ahora no he visto ninguna señal de la recopilación de los 3 Ateliers que salieron para la PS2. 🇬🇧Hi everyone! Today, while I was organizing some games, I saw some PS2 JRPGs that brought back a lot of memories. The Grandia series is one of my favorites in the world of role-playing games. I'm still waiting for them to announce the fourth installment (although I don't know if they will, given the death of its creator 🥺🥲). The first game came out for the Sega Saturn and PS1, offering a story, world, characters, and music that definitely left a mark. Then the second part came out for the PS2 and Dreamcast, maintaining the magic of the first title. Grandia 3 was only released in Japan and North America for the PS2 (we Europeans were left wanting 🥲). Later on, they released the Grandia HD Collection, a remaster of the first two games for Switch, PS4, PS5 (via backwards compatibility), and Xbox One. I still don't understand why they didn't include the third "chapter" (some say it's the worst, so they just released the two "gems" 😅, anyway...). Were you familiar with this JRPG series? 🇪🇦Hola!!! Hoy mientras estaba colocando algunos juegos vi unos Jrpg de PS2 que me trajeron mucha nostalgia, y es que la saga Grandia es una de las mejores para mí dentro del mundo de los juegos de rol. Aún sigo esperando que anuncien el cuarto capítulo de la saga (aunque no sé yo si lo anunciarán debido a la muerte de su creador🥺 🥲). El primer capítulo nos llegó para la sega saturn y la psone que nos ofrecía una historia, mundo, personajes y música que sin duda nos dejó marca. Después su segunda parte vino para la PS2 y Dreamcast manteniendo la magia del primer título. Grandia 3 fue lanzado sólo en Japón y Norteamérica para PS2 (los europeos nos quedamos con las ganas 🥲). Más adelante nos brindaron el Grandia Hd Collection que es la remasterización de los 2 primeros juegos para Switch, PS4, Ps5 (por retrocompatibilidad) y Xbox One, aún sigo sin entender el por qué no metieron el tercer "capítulo" (algunos dicen que como es el peor pues mejor sacar las 2 "joyitas"😅, en fin..). 🇬🇧Hello! Today I'm bringing you an RPG that reminds us of the old 8-bit classics for PC, Switch, and PS Vita: The Longest Five Minutes. This title isn't your typical RPG, as you'll find yourself in the middle of a final boss fight, and during the battle... you lose your memory (you forget everything, even your abilities). Your companions will try to help you remember (while your enemy tries to confuse you), triggering numerous flashbacks. The game unfolds in these flashbacks, exploring your memories so you can recover them and regain your power and abilities to win the final battle. It's a rather unusual premise, but that's undoubtedly part of its charm. The only downsides I can point out are the simplicity of the combat (turn-based and not very versatile) and the fact that it's only available in English (and there's quite a bit of text to read if you want to fully understand everything). The collector's edition includes the game, the soundtrack, and pins of the main characters. 🇪🇦Hola!!! Hoy os vengo con un Rpg que nos recuerda a los antiguos de 8 bits para Pc, Switch y PsVita, The Longest Five Minutes. Este título no es el típico Rpg, ya que al principio nos encontraremos en el combate con el jefe final y durante el combate...perdemos la memoria (olvidamos todo hasta nuestras habilidades), por lo que nuestros compañeros nos intentarán hacer recordar (a la vez que nuestro enemigo para confundirnos) provocando numerosos flashbacks que es en donde se desarrollará el juego, en nuestros recuerdos para así poder recuperarlos y conseguir que nuestro poder y habilidades vuelvan para poder vencer en nuestra batalla final. La verdad es que es un planteamiento bastante inusual pero que sin duda es otra parte de su encanto. Lo único malo que podría recalcar es la simplicidad de sus combates (por turnos y con poca versatilidad) y que viene en inglés (y hay bastante texto que leer si se quiere entender todo perfectamente). 🇬🇧Hey everyone! How's it going? Today I'm here with a game that blends horror, platforming, and puzzles for PS4, Switch, PC, and Xbox One: The Missing: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories (yes, I know, it's a very short title 😅). J.J. Macfield has a dear friend named Emily, and when she disappears on an island, he doesn't hesitate for a moment to go looking for her. There, J.J. is struck by lightning, but instead of dying, he gains the power of immortality and extreme regeneration (Lady Deadpool). This gift will help him find Emily, since finding clues will require him to suffer... (no pain, no gain). The plot is definitely very interesting, and the game itself is quite appealing, with great graphics, music, and gameplay (although it's only available in English 🥲). There's a very attractive collector's edition from Limited Run Games that includes: the game, magnets, stickers, donut-shaped stress balls, and a plush toy. 🇪🇦Hola!! Que tal? Hoy vengo con un juego que mezcla terror, plataformas y puzzles para PS4, Switch, Pc y Xbox One, The Missing: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories (si, lo sé es un titulo muy corto 😅). J.J. Macfield tiene una amiga llamada Emily que tiene un gran aprecio, y cuando está desaparece en una isla, no duda un momento en ir a buscarla. En ese lugar, J.J es alcanzada por un rayo pero no muere, sino todo lo contrario, adquiere el poder de la inmortalidad y regeneración extrema (Lady Deadpool), este don le servirá para ayudarle a encontrar a Emily ya que para encontrar pistas deberá sufrir... (no hay recompensa sin dolor). Sin duda su argumento es muy interesante y el juego también es bastante atractivo, tanto de gráficos, música y jugabilidad (aunque viene en inglés 🥲). When he receives his first mission on the surface, he discovers that not everything in The Core is perfect... This game offers a very unique perspective on war and the conflict it creates in civilian life, with turn-based combat or the option to eliminate enemies using your sniper rifle. Relationships are an important aspect of the game, so you'll have to learn to understand others (since it's based on the modern world). It will undoubtedly appeal to anyone who enjoys JRPGs (plus, it's available in Spanish 🤩🤩). Estamos ante un juego con una visión muy peculiar sobre la guerra y el conflicto que crea en la vida civil, con combates por turnos o con la posibilidad de acabar con los enemigos usando nuestro rifle de francotirador. Las relaciones son un punto importante en el título, de forma que tendremos que conseguir entendernos con los demás (debido a que está basado en el mundo actual).
