I just made the journey across the desert to the salty oasis. The conditions were less than ideal for producing high quantities of fish, but we managed to find some quality. The slow fishing was much more bearable due to the company on the rocky shoreline. Met some awesome dudes out there. There weren’t a lot of fish, but a ton of laughs. Thanks to Grant with @fireflyfishing_ for snapping some super crispy pics! I’ve been trying to plan a spring vacation... Southeast Alaska Steelhead seems like a pretty good option! #flyfishing #alaska #southeastalaska #seak #steelhead #rainbowtrout #chrome #anadromous #catchandrealease #steelheadsyndicate #templeforkoutfitters #lamsonwaterworks #scientificanglers #rising3474 #simms #fuelthesoul by @drift.doctor

Definitely one of the coolest Brookies I’ve ever caught! This day started out as a total grind. Not one touch for over six hours. I kept changing locations, flies and presentations. Everything finally came together and end up being one of the best days of fishing I’ve had in a long while! #flyfishing #flyfishingutah #catchandrelease #fishing #scientificanglers #patagoniaflyfishing #sageflyfishing #fishpondusa #brook #trout #brooktrout #char #innerpeace #fuelthesoul by @drift.doctor

So glad I was able to get outta town this weekend! Much needed getaway with my buddy Leo. I think this pup likes fishing more than I do! He sat next to me patiently watching and waiting for the next hook set. Looking forward to the next adventure! #flyfishing #adventurebuddy #fishingdog #fishing #utah #indogodown #brooktrout #catchandrealease #innerpeace #fuelthesoul by @drift.doctor

This last trip out to the land of giants was such a great experience. Everyone I ran into out there brought nothing but great vibes to the tufa covered shoreline. The days can be long and definitely test your patience. But there were a ton of laughs and we even found a couple great fish! After a long day of no chop, warm sun and slowly pickin away at the fish with the midge. The sun was going down and there were fish slashing everywhere in the shallows. I quickly grabbed my stripping set up at started casting into the shallows. It didn’t take long before my line went tight and stuck this tank of a Summit! Such a cool moment having all the boys there to snap some photos of this 4th quarter fish! Thanks again to the birthday boy @fireflyfishing_ for another awesome shot!
